Fun Swunt Challenge: Aakas Level 1

Hi sweaters! It's something we've been wondering about ever since instances were released last year:

Can we sweat all the mobs in the Aakas instance and finish in time to loot the boxes?


Thursday at 17:00 MA (game) time we're going to find out. I'm not sure how many players we can get into the instance, but the minimum I want is one full team of 12 players. We also need experienced players with heal/sync chip. If you're joining, you should plan to be available for the full 2 hours. Bring your own gun/ammo if you want to kill the mobs when they're dry (all mobs need to be killed to finish the instance). There are TT and repair terminals inside.

Meet at Aakas TP at 16:50 MA time if you want to participate, either as a healer or as a sweater. I won't be giving rides over to Aakas on the day of the event so get the TP ahead of time!

Dunno about any heal/sync chip but I do have one of those sweating tool things. might just show up for this. Can you tell us which key you plan on using Neil?, and thanks for giving noobs stuff to do. it means a lot to them.

Lastnight I gave a ride on the VTOL to a new player. it was his first time flying over Celeste and he was blown away. simple stuff like that gives people a will to keep playing.

Neil, i want to participate. Just can`t find that Aakas gathering point, Aakas TP. Been looking at the Arkadia map on this thread, first post:

But can`t find that TP. I have sleipnir, can fly anywhere, so if someone could just give me coordinates, please.

It is the lower left hand corner of the map named outpost on that map at 10882, 10696.

If im ingame around the meeting time tomorrow, plz pm me as i've prolly forgotten by then, but im up for the challenge.. Have had the same thought myself when instances came out.. - will participate as sweater as I only got a Herb Box..

 

Event start in 23 hours! Don't forget to bring ammo and weapon if you want to kill the dry mobs.

Interesting event/challenge, GL in there. Can't wait to see the results... Would like to participate but at work , dang RL always getting in the way.

Bump... if you're interested, be at Aakas in 25 min. Remember, no cost to join. If you shoot the mobs you will most likely get back more than you spend since I'm paying for the key.

 

how did it go?

 

I don`t know about the rest of the team, but i have spent less than 2 ped ammo, and got 3.12 ped return, so i think we did great, and i have 500 sweat so about 1 ped more on the positive. It was a really fun run, and the boss is tough one. Looking forward to doing it again.

 

Thanks for all who participated! We only had 9 people in team but decided to go ahead anyway. I think we managed to sweat all the mobs except for the respawn room and the snakes in the boss room. The boss we sweated for at least 15 minutes and i'm not sure how much of a dent we made in him. It was harder because the Sync kept wearing off at death. So I'm guessing probably 4k sweat collected in total (forgot to count at the end).

Definitely more fun than regular sweating!
