Walking while shooting doesn't make any difference. You could test it using entropia life combat log to see for sure, just keep in mind that you'd need a large data set to see any significant difference.

 

by back walking you get 2-3 additional shots
diference you see on armor and heal repair costs
specialy whit rifles if you using manual shooting ,cause RMB or autouse will take you few meters
on other hand if mob die on way to you no evade skills

 

True, I used a poor choice of words. Walking backwards doesn't change the damage per shot, but you will be able to do more damage to the mob before it hits you, meaning less armor decay. On Oro, that's significant since they attack a lot.

 

Thanks for info Neil and T79x. Will continue with the retreating attack then, few extra shots are always welcome.

It does get painful at times that is for sure, but still I find the stats are very useful in my no deposit quest. Without a plan there is no way a non depositor will make it in this universe.

That gives you at least one other choice in armour for the moment - and the Adjusted Pixie is pretty nice


Your skills will rise quickly with most weapons when you start out using them - it's as the skills get higher that they slow down in gain rate. Sometimes loads of skill gains also result in a little less loot though as they seem to be counted towards your "return value" in some way.
