I'm not only new to Arkadia but also I have just recently joined Entropia Universe. The time I've spent on Calypso so far has been great and I realized how awesome the EU community is compared to most others. I've had an overall awesome time and am slowly working on my mining skills and recently on becoming a paramedic so that hopefully I can start a fap service someday. Arkadia, with its "treasure hunting" theme and a dev team that's keeping contact with the community, seems like a great chance to be part of something new and amazing right from the beginning. So here I am, eagerly awaiting the release tomorrow. My PED card won't be fat after the estimated 40 PED fee but I think it's well worth it. As a newb I am of course hoping to be able to work my way up on Arkadia as much as I could on Calypso, so maybe my point of view could be of interest to the community amongst all you pros and veterans who play on a whole different level Well here's to a great adventure for all of us
Welcome to the comunity. I hope you will enjoy the game (erm not a game acording to some) Don't get your hopes up for being a paramedic. Work is scarece at most and to date I have only done healing for 3 diffrent avatars and one team (probono coz it was the only way I could help my country in WOF this year) and I have been offering my services on and off for a year now. Edit. I havent been advertising a lot off the forums as I find it quite boring standing and waiting for something to happen. You might have some better luck then me if your willing to spend the time to advertise in a bussy town.

Might i suggest posting a log in one of the profession forums when you have decided what you want to do....then again, people like AxeMurderer are doing several logs at once, so there's no need to limit yourself to a single profession.
