the hoverpod is placed in your inventory. You can take it and use it anywhere else, unless that other location has restrictions (eg Greece on Next Island).
Are you able to get another Alienware hoverpod after this one blows up? It appears to be a limited item.
Nope, they were/are a free gift when doing the New Player missions and are only given to new players. I'm not sure if they are tradeable or not (think they are not) but i do know you cannot redo the mission that gives it to you.
its an L item, and will decay past the point of use. save a bit of TT value and use it as a box before it dies. old vehicles are great for storage. once you can mine around for the Urns you can use the dead vehicles as bags inside the urns. the urns have a low item count, but a high weight allowance, so.. ex. you can have a tall Urn with 54 items slots, but 540 weight. that will let you place a few vehicles inside, and fill the vehicle inventories to save item count, and keep you more orderly. there is always a use for a almost dead L vehicle
If your hoverpod still has TT value left in it (see the item info window) you can use a repair tool to repair it back to full working state. I think it can be blown up and repaired several times before dying permanently.
