After all these mining tool changes just want to double check: will it be possible to buy Calypso rookie mining gear or it's exact specs-wise Arkadia equivalent from Arkadia TT?
If I'm not mistaken, I think you'll be able to get the rookie gear for Arkadia at the Arkadia TT, but again, they can verify that for you. I doubt you will find any Calypso gear in the Arkadia TT.
Sounds fair enough, and I don't think I would expect anything else, it would kinda spoil the fun of exploring.
The reason I'm asking is that I don't want to make a stupid mistake like there is better/cheaper (rookie) equipment on Calypso, that I can buy before the departure and I won't. And on Arkadia I will not find any equivalent equipment, so it will be missing or Arkadia (rookie) will have different stats, that are worse Like, rookie mining tool uses 1/2/3 bombs for mining enmatter/ore/treasure I think I have all rights to know before the launch, if there is equipment with the exactly stats on Arkadia TT Because if Arkadia rookie tools will consume like twice more bombs and therefore mining will be twice more expensive for rookies, I won't be happy to find it out after paying 40 ped for the transfer. I'm not asking for some specific stats like the tool weight, uses per minute or images, I don't care, but I like the confirmation that economy-wise it won't be more expensive, so I won't have to tepeport back just to buy cheaper tools on Calypso and then go back again If it happens, it's not gonna be "the fun of the exploring", it's gonna be ugly
I think you don't have to worry about that.... but if it really bugs you so much there is a quite simple solution. Buy tons of the TT equiptment and bring it to Arkadia. If the Arkadia gear is better just tt it. IF the Arkadia gear has worse stats then you can either use it yourself or probably get rich selling the calypso TT stuff there. Might sound a bit mean but trust me it is no risk at all from what I can tell. And there is a potential profit in it so plenty of ppl will do it anyway. Hoarding TT gear is a pretty old strategy which often turns out to be useless but well sometimes it doesn't...
I will have to do exactly that, since I can only use rookie gear, so it's important, and I can't get an answer to this simple question I wouldn't like to buy tons probably unnecessary gear and bring it with me especially for the purpose of reselling... but I didn't know that it's such a big secret just to confirm that rookie gear on Arkadia is the same economy-wise What's the reason to be so secretive about that?
ehm why don't just buy it on calypso? You can always sell it on an arkadia trade terminal if you don't need it on arkadia? And ofc you can use other gear then rookie gear. (i guess you don't want to?)
