So if I want to sell my sweat lets say either locally on Arkadia or on the forum here....what is the proper way? Is there a proper way?

In my opinion, I would do it this way....
I would first offer my lowest bid myself, like "Opening bid is 1.6 PED per K of sweat....anyone match or higher?"

Because if I simply say, I want 3.0 Ped per k I might not end up selling any?

I don't think you are going to get people bidding on sweat. It might be worth seeing what other sweaters are getting. There is often a sweating circle at Celeste Outpost (where the nusuls are). Perhaps check with them.

    Check with competitors first?
I think I'll sell it my own way, then.
Bidding is the most logical way as far as I can see it.
In that way you make sure you are still selling and also under bidding competitors.

Which in turn will undercut you, I think you should listen to Kikki or at least rethink your ideas

Just advertise "Selling sweat, 3 ped per k". If nobody buys it, say "Selling sweat, 2.5 ped per k". You may have to go down to 2 to get someone to buy it. You can also get a higher price if you let them know that you're brand new.

There is something you need to understand about sweat... what's the true value based on supply and demand? I don't know but I wouldn't be surprised if it's under 1 ped per k. But, since buying sweat is one way that older players can support newbies, they are usually OK with paying newbies higher prices (like 2.5 or 3 ped per k). There are stacks of 500k, 1M sweat bottles in many players' storage. But they just hang on to them because it would be too much hassle to sell them, or they don't want to crash the sweat market, or maybe they're waiting for prices to go up one day, I don't know. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that your best price is not going to be in try to sell the cheapest, but in understanding that sweat users want to support you the newbie instead of the guy who brought 50k of "professional" sweat from caly. We might pay 1.5 ped per k to the sweat trader but 3 ped per k to the newbie. If that makes any sense.

Sweating is useful for gaining skills and for giving players their first few peds while checking out the game prior to depositing. The more older players who flood the market with sweat, the harder it is for the newbies to sell theirs. Not saying older players shouldn't sweat, by the way, I know many who use it as a way to interact and mentor new players or just get free skills.

Sweating is simple: just equip your VSE mk1 and point it at a mob. Click the "toggle auto-use tool" button and wait. You will eventually gather sweat unless you die first. Most people gather sweat from carabok, gallard, or nusul, though any mob on arkadia is sweatable (except oratan, i think).
