We have been working hard over the last month or so to build up a crew and some faithful customers and are working on changing the mindset players have about the universe and space. "Space should be available to everyone regardless of their budget or level of play." October will be a promotional month for us which means all our current prices used during the Training Period will remain the same. Rocktropia <-> Calypso flights scheduled with the Mothership MacReady will have a flight departing every 4 hours from either Rocktropia or Calypso. (schedules are posted on our site) Arkadia <-> Calypso flights scheduled with the Starfinder XXIV will have a flight departing every 4 hours from either Arkadia or Calypso. (schedules are posted on our site) Scheduled Flights = FREE, anyone is welcome to use our scheduled flights for free, but a donation of 3-5ped is recommended to the Captain of the flight for his/her time and effort helping you out. If someone has payed for a warp during out scheduled flight your donations will go towards reducing their warp fees. Warps = 25ped per jump, as many people as want for the one low price rather it is during scheduled flights, VIP, or Hunting. Pricing starting November 1st will remain mostly the same with just a change in warp costs. Scheduled Flights = FREE, anyone is welcome to use our scheduled flights for free, but a donation of 3-5ped is recommended to the Captain of the flight for his/her time and effort helping you out. I am very proud of our Crew and how well they have managed to keep our difficult schedule. During our training period we have had 569 flights and 302 warp flights! Our Current Goals: SI Upgrades for the MacReady - Thanks to Auktuma these have already been applied, just waiting for the next VU (maybe tomorrow?) for them to take affect. 100 Paid Warps per week (2 full drives) - We opened up our Arkadia Schedule last week and with the two Schedules combined had over 70 warps, so I project that we will accomplish this easily within the next month. Secure contacts with enough hunters to provide the Generic Fuses we will need to sustain this many warps - We are almost there, but are always looking for new sources for Generic Fuses, please contact me (Narfi) or any of our captains if you have any to sell. A full month with 0 missed flights - We have 12 scheduled flights a day around the clock so this is a huge undertaking working with all time zones, we are currently still missing 1-2 flights a week, but with new Captains being trained I don't see this being a problem for us at all. Adding VIP Hunting Packages to our business model/schedule - We have had a few very happy hunters on trips with us, but we need to work on a strong strategy and pricing plan to accommodate this on a regular basis. Become one of the most active Transport Services in the game - I think even with just our training period we have accomplished this and can easily be counted as one of the top 5 most active 'fleets' in the game. Remove the negative stereotypes about space and other Planets that Pirates and greifers have fostered and encourage safe and accessible transport to players of any level or budget. - There is nothing we can do about those who want to harass us or others, but we will continue to do our best to keep our schedules and to help all of our customers to the best of our abilities. Space is a fun place, and space does not have to be dangerous if approached properly. This is something that all the Major Mothership owners are striving to accomplish, and in that we are all working together towards a common goal. We each have different approaches and business models, but each of us is helping players and satisfying our customers needs in our own ways. That is correct. It would be impossible to offer 12 free warp flights a day. I am a low budget player and anything I do has to at least break even for me. Our service is unique in the current space program in that we can offer free and 100% safe logged off flights while at the same time maintaining a 24/7 schedule for all time zones. My goal is to help all new and low budget players I can while at the same time offering affordable fast warp and VIP flights for mid lvl+ players. Say we are departing Arkadia at 02:00 MA time. There are a couple of scenarios that could play out. 1. We have 0 passengers or we have some Free passengers, or we have some Free passengers who choose to donate a few ped. In this case we will summon them to the ship, and explain to them their options for logging off if they have any loot with them, then we will fly subwarp to Calypso and once their notify them on our website that it is safe to log back in. (for these flights I loose out on the oil consumed, but it is a negligible amount in the bigger scheme of what we are doing and it helps out other players and promotes our business.) 2. We have 1 or more passengers willing to pay for warp to Calypso. We let them split the costs making it cheaper for each of them. We summon them to the ship and explain their options for logging off and how to know when it is safe to log in. Then we Warp to Calypso. 3. We have 1 or more passengers that want to go to some other planet. In this case they pay (or split the cost) for a warp to the planet of their choice. After we drop them off we continue sub-warp to calypso with any of our 'Free' passengers. (with our 2hr flight + 2hr training schedule there is plenty of time to do any of these and remain on schedule) (during any of our Scheduled Skilling times our ships are available for VIP as long as the ship can return in time for its schedule, some times this can be accomplished with a single warp, but usually requires two. Time flies when your busy, looks like I forgot to update the thread last week. For the week ending Oct 6th. 143 Flights 90 Warp Flights All Time Totals, 712 Flights 392 Warp Flights Was a smooth running week and approached some of our long term goals in terms of weekly numbers.
For the week ending Oct 13th, 140 Flights 70 Warp Flights All Time Totals, 852 Flights 462 Warp Flights This was a rough week with almost a day down for the buggy VU and issues the day after with Captains loosing connection and not being able to log back in for hours at a time. Still not too bad considering the issues, and picked up end of the week with new discoveries on the Fringe Planets encouraging travelers to go and get new toys. (I looted an SR51, a uber SIB BLP tagger in a crib raid on Rocktropia) narfi ps. Please remember our promotional period ends Nov 1st, and warps become 30ped per jump. (50ped for a double jump if pick up is required or the ship needs to warp back to stay on schedule for its next flight, That is a 10ped discount for 2 jumps over paying for them separately) gl and have fun narfi
Week Ending Nov 3rd, 130 Flights 83 Warp Flights All time totals, 1278 Flights 741 Warp Flights Fairly uneventful week, switching to full pricing from our promotional pricing doesn't seem to be affecting the traffic on our ships, so that is good. Pirates are still clamming an imaginary Benefactor behind their harassment, but since I have received reports from crews on both TOS and EFA that they say the same thing when harassing their ships, I will continue to assume they are just trying to cause dissent amongst the owners. I normally use the normandie or EFA depending on their flight times. But since they are usually at evenings it's nice to see another option for the other times as well. Made one flight so far, and it went smoothly

Week ending Nov 10th, 156 Flights 109 Warp Flights All time totals, 1434 Flights 850 Warp Flights (17 warp drives consumed so far) Busy week, had more people on Rocktropia than I have ever seen before That makes it hard to gauge how our change to full pricing will affect the volume of customers, but it was certainly the highest volume of flights, warps, and profit yet. On a down side I had a terrible run on Warp Drives yesterday and lost a few thousand ped of markup :/ On an upside we will be getting a 3rd ship which will be used for VIP Hunting and or any type of Rental/VIP activity requested so as our two primary ships can stay on their routes.
