Hey thought id post a little story of all the fun we had on this instance last night Really was great fun, highly recommend (I dont know if this is the right section, feel free to move it if i got it wrong ) I watched them all run toward the giant jaws of the cave, what were we doing? What had I led them into? “stick together” I yelled as the excited soc mates disappeared on into the cave. We were on Arkadia, many of us had just disembarked from the Normandie and still acclimatising to the atmosphere here. The air was thick, with the smell of old damp caves, and a hint of burning torch wafted towards us. My ever dutiful Captain Hollys helped our newest member Shark down deeper into the caves where they met the rest of the group. Entering the chamber we were surrounded by a set of doors. “door 10” I thought, with a slight hesitation on the words. “oh well, if we are going to do it, may as well go all in” I re-assured myself. What a colourful bunch Standing infornt of the door I gulped as I brought out the Key 10 that our sadly absent mate Max had given to us. “all ready?” I asked, although them seemed more ready than me, I wondered if I was really asking myself. I held my breath as the door opened and we all piled into the Instance. It was truly beautiful, Gold inlayed walls, luxurious ornate furnishings, surely such a place must be guarded? Aha! Then we seen them, the Army of Aakas, ferocious mighty warriors, but with our guns at the ready we battled our way through. Each chamber, hallway and room led to new wonderful and opulent sights to behold, Rose a strong yet enchanting Colonel strongly advised me to stop staring and admiring the décor , to shoot at the defenders . Each chamber led to new and mysterious mobs, from the slug and tic like creatures in the basement to the sword wielding knights. We had to keep pressing on. Cyber often led the way, bashing through the mobs with Hellraiser right by the side, and little hollys showing size doesn’t matter when you wield a gun The battle was on… For most damage inflicted. The mobs liked me for some reason, Rose pointed it it may be as I was the key holder, and our resident master of all things sensible and the utterly ridiculous – Sashy, Pointed out from the stats I was getting a real bashing. Most damage sustained….great…. Poor little Shark took a hammering and revived even deeper and further into the cave than we were, not to worry… I heroically followed him to the revival ( ok maybe it was more of an accident ) We were weaker when our group had now gotten so divided. I was truly lost, and Shark was lost with me. This place was huge, No idea what was forward and what was back. We heard our brave comrades battle on through without us, watching their wee yellow dots facing the red dots head on. Eventaully we worked out from the huge spiral staircase that we must be ahead of the group, and eventually found them again. Entering a grand hall we realised this must be the end. We had been in the instance for around an hour and could see the bountiful treasure chests ahead of us. But first… we had to kill the boss and his minions. Resembling an Aakas warrior he stood at least 20 ft tall, and killed our brave battlers in mighty blows from his sword. Now was not a time to give up, we had to win, come what may. With the shots ringing through the air he fell to the ground, we had done it! He was dead! Now time to claim our treasure! The room was filled with 11 treasure chests , Having done beacons together before, and seeing that we had 10 mins to get out, it was decided I would open them so I could then split the loot. I opened the first… Globalled!.... the second… Globalled! The third… well you get the idea! Almost every single box lit the room up with golden swirls and fanfare. The excitement on team speak was so high as I approached the last box. This was one about 5 times the size of the rest. We all gathered round and I slowly opened the box. Huge Golden swiriles flew out and the full room was alight with the brightness of a HOFF! The screams and cheers were a bit deafening on team speak, the laughs the excitement and the resounding feeling from all that…. That was awesome! Ps. it was damaged share loot ( as per our team settings) so we didnt have to split the loot like in beacons. Pps. Sorry that my screen shots werent great, I blame my broken arm So I pinched some of cybers too
Alaina you'll have to fix your images by attaching them directly to your post. At the moment, they are just hotlinked thumbnails from PCF and won't expand to a size better viewable. Looks like you all had fun though and nice writeup.
