Not had this happen myself, but I hear if you leave the planet with treasure hunting still activated on you finder then you won't be able to mine on other planets.

Switch off treasure hunting before leaving planet!

Relogging fixed the problem when i went to RT, that was before the last VU.

Bugger. I know there was a change for this vu so that finders remeber previous settings. This looks like an unintended consequence.

Finders don't remember previous settings... at least mine don't.

Oh I see what you mean, yes, finders remember what you had set when you logged out last. Not sure how useful that is, really, unless you crash a lot.

When the announcement about finder memory came, I was excited... I thought it referred to, for example, leaving treasure hunting enabled on your Terramaster 1 but ores and enmats enabled on your Terramaster 3, and being able to switch between the two finders without clicking the resource buttons. Which would be extremely useful. Unfortunately, it doesn't do this, at least not for me.

I thought that was what they were doing too, Neil, but seems not to be what they actually did. The finders always stuck if you had treasure hunting selected when you landed on another planet, but a relog used to help, now it doesnt because the settings are saved.

Oh well, hopefully they'll fix it on Tuesday.

Hopefully they'll do what they were supposed to and have individual finders remember their own settings. It's so frustrating swapping finders every drop.

yea it used to this VU "fixed" that. I liked doing that cause i'd have two rookie finders one for ore one for enmatter and my little big mining log would track better. Now i dont even want to mine cause LBM doesn't work as good and i was spoiled

Rex, I don't understand... why would you need to use two different rookie finders with LBML? You can do double drops with LBML, and it will automatically connect each claim with each drop.
