Pressing t didn't help either as I just respawned in that square water volume. Upon relogging I got teleported back to the entrance without my Key. In my game design course that would probably be given a Fail grade but hey it's every level designers nightmare so I hope you get it sorted out.
You probably know by now, but 4-11 are not accessible yet. Just 1-3. And I'm glad they did it this way... People would be a bit ticked off if they paid MU on a key 10 and lost it due to server load.
This seems like its taking a while to load up the instance for you. Best thing todo in this case is wait at the start point untill everything has finished loading in and then start running. I will take a look @ what can be done to increase load speed
Ok MA is currently investigating the cause of the problem with the error messages and keys being consumed. I will get back to you guys once I know more.
Thanks for looking into the instance problems. However I was expecting that to be the case so I stood there for quite a long time... 5mins at least. Also my PC specs are decent enough to run Crysis 2 with maxed settings: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 6144MB RAM GTX 560M i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz PS: Is it free to leave the instance and enter it again with the same key?? That might solve this issue if it is a server load problem. Since there are loads of walls etc. (static objects) missing that seems unlikely to me but what do I know about MindArks ways? They surprise me all the time.
ok that is odd Xerox, Your pc should not have problems loading up. you might want to try a repair of EU. Also if you can see the exit you are free to leave and reenter using it the but do not take to long as the system will eventually reset the instance and consume the key. Also leaving the team when you are outside will cause a reset of the instance. Current feedback from MA is that initial logs show that the max amount of instances that can be run at the same time has been hit. I do not think they figured it might be quite so bussy with the launch of the instances on Arkadia as to overload the server
One question, not really a bug, I think, but does anyone know... 1) why is force chat enabled in instances, and 2) what happens if you leave the team while in an instance I guess that's two questions.
Well I tried again today with a Key I and this time it worked just fine. No idea why that happened yesterday but I am waiting for a reply from support now. I hope they'll at least repay me the tt of the key. heh
I did the level one instance yesterday and everything worked fine, *except* when it was over I was dumped back into the "lobby" before I could loot the chest. This happened to my teammate as well. After killing the boss the message came up "The treasure chests are now open" and then before I could even walk over to them the blue leaderboard (stats) came up and after closing that window I was immediately whisked out of the instance. So I got NO loot after going thru 15-20 PED of ammo and the Key of course. I have a screenie, but it's hard to prove what *didn't* happen that should have! I wonder if anyone else had this same problem. Both my teammate and I got NO loot whatsoever. The instance was great up until the very end View attachment 4799

hmm I dont know if it is part of the design but are you guys aware that you only need to kill the boss and none of the mobs to unlock the chests (except for 6 of the gaurds). The missing wall also makes it possible to skip large parts of the map and go almost directly to the boss... some falling involved. I would also suggest that the number of mobs gets decreased slightly but their toughness increased... and maybe some form of AI instead of just placed on the floor. Some exploding barrels, gates you need to destroy or maybe rocks that need to be removed will be cool... maybe add some traps? More Indiana Jones... Less DnD
Hmm I wonder if this is considered and exploit? Wonder if it was used quit a bit during the Baron contest. Allowing a win of baron contest using this cheesy tactics would be huge failure on A-Team's side, but smart move on players side who knew how to exploit it.
Just a heads up on the snakes.. their hit boxes are way above their heads.. so aim above them untill you see their names and start firing.
Hi Mordrell, on what lvl is the missing wall. Also we are planning on adding in doorways and such but due to a problem with the system during the build time we wore unable to test those function in the test servers and left them out until they can be tested.
Chris, u can see the missing wall coords in my screenshot; not sure if it's the same wall Mordrell saw... er... didn't see.
Slight bug... not critical, really, but if you enter an instance while the key is equipped, you're still holding the key when you get inside. Then you can't unequip it (except by equipping something else).
Just ask, is it right I can still looting one empty box even killed all the mobs inside instance, and it not only happened once. :surrender:
