Hi! was thinking! that now with the smuggler armor on its way what about a smuggler mech or a spaceship...
even the word "mech" makes me exciited ! talk about maneuver ! i remember there are some type of mechs back in anarchy online...i think it was for PVP purpose.
Yes! Though! i do like palnet arkadians art\design direction really reminds me of EU pre-version 10 update from the gamebryo engine* to Cryengine2* anyway! so i can only imagine how awesome MECHS would be designed by the arkadian team or by arkadian community input! and the amount of design and functionality\possibilities available to MECHS! example>> Mech designed specifically for hunting! with its own arsenal of weapons that could be carried or mounted depending upon the mechs design and my favourite a mining mech that could drop probs! extract claims! carry enmatters and ores in its storage compartment! and provide the miner with some extra protection out on his or her mining runs............
You can see the prototype Mechs at Jamisons Reach on Calypso and on the main deck of any Mothership. These are just decorations at the moment, but considering they have designed them I expect we will see them soon either from Cyrene starting May 1st and possibly from Calypso at a similar time. These will make PvP battles very interesting! Imagine Mech fights in the PvP rings! Cheers Bjorn
Yeah! seen them! the other week the design reminds me of a clunky battletech mech! similar to the old designs of the (Vulture\Osprey\Madcat) though! each of the mentioned mechs move quite fast on paper and the modern design\art of them dose look awesome........so i guess! any mech is better then no mech! and PVP would be cool! especially if some mechs have flying capabilities or jump jets //////////.
