Hello, I thought it be nice to have some real nice huge boat to travel the shores around the planet and invite people to boat parties and maybe to dive for big fishs. One of my most favourite boat is the Alexander von Humboldt which maybe some people already know from adverts for the german Beck's Bier. How about that? Thank you!
I agree that we should have a big boat hehe but not this one (its nice anyway). But It should be futuristic whit new technologys etc . Thats my opinion hehe
agreed with Kevlie but just out of the necessity of a huge amount of people you need to maintain such a vessel (i.e. manning the rig, scrubbing deck, navigating, keeping the watch, etc ) i like these sailing ships very much and it would be a cool thing to have them even if it means there´s a locker for the wretched souls somewhere, too. regards, hideo just joking; or trolling u decide
ye huge ships are nice. i know at there are these us navy type ships ingame but they are not like alot of people can stand un the upper deck. for such huge boat you need alot more water ofc to get it a proper usage and a reason why to use it. that be maybe to hunt some huge fish mobs which can be only shot with such a huge boats cannons and not be hunted with 12 people in team no matter who it tries =) so like a incredible mob hunt maybe wave event which can be handled by such boat. the question is only how much it cost then to do such hunts. be nice if it use low ammo but alooot damage then so the cost to do such hunt are not extremely high so just a small group of people can only do it. and repair crew needed ofc. hmmm maybe such wave event can drop nice items. but you need like 3-5 such huge boat crews to do it. that would give a nice challenge to community to gather up all the people and boat owners to do such hunt together =) it be some special experience to do such wave hunt which cant be done any time but only when the people manage to get the coordination together.
Not bad the only thing I'd need in a big boat is the ability to stand up on it and move around and not fall through it like the current boats and vehicles. Of course a guest list would be needed but I'd just love to be able to move around the damn thing. A sail ship would be cool why futuristic? call it a collectors edition
haha, funny. i know jay leno collects cars but i never heard of someone collecting three-master and such =) i like the idea with the big events and the even bigger mobs we could bring down with these and as was menationed in the NR interview with kim they(MA) building/trying/testing/whatever this kind of system for motherships in space. who knows maybe one day we´re able to do the same on a planet
ye imagine a oratan island in deep sea with a massive wave event on the island. colonists can go there by that huge boat only as the air around the oratan island and water around it is of a huge gas clowd so the smallest turbine of a sleip or quad would make it explode. so the only possibility will be to drive there by the boat and you need 3-5 such boats full of people to survive the oratans at the coast even. the goal of the colonists is to step deep into the island to conquer a mysterious secret the oratain are hideing there. so like 150 colonist jumping into the water at the shores and run into that massive mob spawn to fight their way through massive hordes of oratan which get stronger and stronger the more the colonists get into the island. and the colonists will reach areas where they have to split up to conquer several waypoints at the same time. only if the colonists conquer all waypoints at once and hold them for like 30 seconds the system will see it and a massive wall will be broken through by the colonists to go on and all the way to the end is full of these triggers so tactic together is very important. the final fight all have to be together again to manage to fight something huge and discover what is to discover. maybe for every colonist is a treasure chest waiting at the end to loot. you have the chance to loot items, loot, or other things. the system roll the dice to select what you loot then in the end. epic battle for arkadia =)
Maybe this could be Arkadia's version of beacon? Instead of getting a beacon you could loot the temp deed to a huge vessel to take your team into the island since sleip and quads couldn't go in cause of the cloud yes? And make the cloud so that normal boats cant go either due to the cloud damaging the engines. -Bemo-
ye cool. start the instance , gather up on the boats and go. maybe it can also be that different boats arrive at different beaches at the island depending on if the servers and pcs of the people can handle 150 people on same spot arriving and fighting. like 5 big troops fight their ways through to conquer the waypoints needed to go further to the ways to the final fight where all meet up. it could also be every team has a different goal to reach. like one team must rescure a IFN troop, one must conquer a keycode card from oratan to open a door for others and so on. =) cool cool
