Cyrus|Arkadia Community Manager Interview with Normandie Radio!!

Hello All - DJ Isclay here. On behalf of Normandie Radio I am proud to announce that Cyrus Chen, our beloved Community Manager, has agreed to a LIVE interview! At this point the date/time and location have not been set but our feeling is that it will happen soon!

This interview is to be focused on Cyrus, his work for Arkadia Studios and The Man himself. We would like to get an in-depth look at who Cyrus is, what he does and how he feels about the progress of Arkadia as a whole.

Questions from the player base are always welcome. Please post them here or if you wish you can email studio@normandieradio.co.uk or to The Cafe: isclayscafe@gmail.com. All questions will be reviewed and if appropriate, asked as time will allow.

Please keep in mind that this interview will likely be of shorter duration as Cyrus is a busy man (lucky for us!). We look forward to your comments and questions!

Of course we would love all of you to attend this event and on the chance that anyone cannot tune in to the LIVE show, we will record the interview and post links for download on the forums.

Kim said Mindark's employee can play the game with a secret avatar just like regular players, the ped they spent are from estate, Mothership etc. that have been sold through the auction. Does arkadia has secret avatar for employee too?

With the announcement Kim made of MA overhauling avatar and clothes appearance, will that affect the release date of Arkadian clothes? As in: will you wait until that overhaul is made before you release ark clothes, or are you releasing them now, and then overhauling them as well, once MA introduces that?

 

Wow, what an amazing year for Cyrus, both professionally and personally! Congrats on both.

What has been your biggest disappointment and best surprise in first year with Arkadia?
Which planned feature, more than any other, do you hope to see implimented in Ark's 2nd year?

1) Do you think we will lose many players to Planet Cyrene? And what do you plan to do to prevent this?
2) Are there any plans to attract more crafters?

1. When will we see more of his awesome vids.
2. What is the staus on smuggler armor and mining tools? Kinda gettin aggitated hunters are STILL gettin stuff hand over fist for rewards since ootos are non existant and lack of something to replace beacons here. fruit and rocks dont excite me much.
3 Ask if he can check on the status of mining to get the number of different types of mined materials in a given area cut back. Such small stack sizes are killin us miners and probly not benefitting the crafters as well as it could either.
4 Ask if Arkadia will get their version of rare ores and en mats or are we stuck with getting terrudite and eironite as the "Unknowns" here when using big finders. Basicly there is nothin special deep here to justify using big L tools
5 you as a dj can appriciate this question... When will dancing get fixed.. trying to chat or do anything in game when you have to refresh your dance every 20 to 30 seconds is gettin OLD.
6 when is Cyrus gonna take a step back and breathe so he can come hang out more with us at the parties NR is throwin more and more?
