Hi David and A-team.. I just recently discovered this nice mixed spawn of small Halix and Feran east of Fearless (yes I know, I dont "get out" much LOL), and I just want to send my kudos and a ty.. I remember David and I talking about mixed spawns in one of our interviews and decided that I should post here.. I personally hate to hunt only Ferans, but this spawn makes me want to because of the halix.. It's well balanced with a good approx 50/50 between Halix and Ferans and there's plenty of them in a big area.. Best of all.. No stray bigger mobs.. ONLY small mobs doable with TT weapons.. Again.. Kudos and thumbs up for a well balanced mixed spawn..
But don't make this a rule or have some mobs only in mixed spawns as some of us hate this kind of spawns for several reason, which is one of the reasons I left Caly...
Agreed, it's always better to have a single mob in my opinion. This is one of the many things that Kim is getting wrong on Calypso.
Personally I like the option of 'some' mixed spawns as well, not yet run across any though so ty for mentioning this one zume.
YW.. if you run East you first run into pure halix.. If you run/drive/fly/hover long enough it gets mixed with the Ferans.. South of the Feran part of the spawn there's small Oro's too.. Cant remember if they are mixed with Ferans too, or if it just changes.. Its a huge area with only TT-weapon friendly mobs..
It adds realism to me. Like on Earth... some places have one main animal, other places have a mix. Best of both worlds' both worlds.
