Well, I recently came back to EU and put in $15. After a few days of killing, sweating, and hating how bad I am at character customization I'm back where I started with nothing to show for it but more numbers on my stat sheet.

This would be my third short-lived attempt at trying to get into the game and the first time I actually tried sinking money into it. I'm starting to believe this game might not be for me or something. I see all the skills and all the potential to be had, my eyes light up and I click play but as soon as I'm in the game I look at my PED count and then go back to sweating and questioning my existence.

Speaking of sweat, no one seems to want to buy it. I have 5k of the stuff too.

People say to save up and sell, not to TT stuff. But even after $15 of assorted tools of malice people still scoffed at the amount of mats I was trying to sell and refused to buy them.

Maybe I'm just too used to games where I can play as much as I please and not stress over things like not being able to play in a few hours due to my virtual credit card running short. I'm really sorry If I sound rude but I'm a bit frustrated at pressing my face against a glass window looking into a wondrous candy store I can't gain access to.

I forgot why I am posting this, suppose I'm exasperated and have a gleaming hope someone will chime in and tell me I've been holding my gun wrong and if I hold it sideways I get extra loot for style.

A fellow named Chaz is dropping me off to do that new free stuff thingie so hopefully that'll work out nicely.

Might be worth getting yourself a mentor so you can get some personalised advice.

Like any MMORPG you need at least some in-game funds to progress and sweating is really the lowest level of income. The best thing I can recommend to you is to get your funds up a bit and then start trading if you do not wish to deposit. Then use the profits to build your business up further and to do other profession.

Sweat is pretty useless and there is hardly a market for it. I would recommend hunting Carabox with a weapon from the trade terminal. Their hides sell for a nice markup (even in tiny amounts, i sold 4 the other ady) so it doesn't matter too much if you have to put the rest of your loot into the trade terminal. You can also sweat them dry first (10 sweat is approximately 2 pec so that is already half the cost of killing one). Doing this you see you will start to make a tiny profit.

After maxing the tt-weapons you can upgrade to bigger stuff, as long as you do it slowly it will work out fine. If you are in a hurry and want to hunt the big mobs, you're guaranteed to loose. This game is mostly about patience if you don't want to deposit regulary.

    Good luck out there.

Actually, that's not entirely accurate. There's more of a market than there used to be. Think of all the welding wire people use up in repairing motherships, pitbulls, quads, etc. The welding wire blueprint requires sweat. And if you're like me and go through 1000 clicks pretty easily, that's 10k sweat right there.
