Please post here your feedback and wishlist: features, improvements, new data you would like to see in Oceanic, Galaxy Guide and Importer.

    Great looking tool endy!

Id like to request an enhancement so that I can indicate which Teleporter's I actually already have within the program to make it easier to track down new ones..! Could be an issue with the amount of movements lately with TP's on most planets but would love to see it added.

    Thanks!

As to your request, how do you imagine it?

Where exactly do you want to see "new" TPs and "old" TPs?

Don't need to really separate between old and new more a visual marker to indicate that you have the TP, something as simple as a green ring or similar around a TP marker that has been set as "collected".

Can you describe step by step how it should work? What do you mean by "already have"?
Oceanic starts and reads a data file with TPs, it doesn't know what was there "already" and what has been added "just two minutes ago". At which moment in time this check should occur?

You want to have a function in Oceanic that will show you all TPs on a map with the same position?
It's easy to spot without it, just press "T" and you will see overlapping text over the same place.

Ok will try to explain a little better! first a question: do we have the ability to write to the XML files from within Oceanic? If not that I don't see what I am wanting done but if it is possible I see it as a new entry within the XML to say "I have this TP" as I have put in bold and red below.

<notes>The outpost equipped with a command module with all terminals available.</notes>

Then once the entry is set to true have some sort of visual indication in Oceanic that you don't need to worry about collecting this Teleporter.

*Forum doesn't like applying colors very well!*

    1. You can add new attributes to any XML entry if you like, for example:

when you click on that TP you will see those attributes and their values in the info window.

    2. But if you want some TPs to look different from others I'd suggest you add another design type to oceanic config file, for example "Collected Teleporter", along with the existing one, like this:

here you can customise the appearance for all Collected Teleporters, so they look different from normal ones.

Now in your data file you just change the type of a TP to make it belong to one or another design types:

    or

that will visually change it on the map

Beautiful! A little more manual than I thought but will suffice :)

Since 99% of all known TPs and Revivals all across EU are already in Oceanic, you will hardly have to add lots of them.
