Well, ask the tool owner if you data can be pulled out and stored in a file locally. Since it is your data, you should be able to do it somehow.

Once you pull it out, send a sample to us, we will figure out the format and make a converter if necessary.

StarFinder kindly agreed to create oceanic compatible export for the data he stores, it would also be nice to have some for other tools.

Little big mining log has a export function. it will export all your data (or a selection of it) to a .csv file

The list will be in the format:
    resource,x,y,size,depth,time,planet

This is a small part of my exported list: took a bit from every planet i've mined
    resource,x,y,size,depth,time,planet

    Thanks!

I'll finish oceanic galaxy guide pretty soon and probably make a separate tool for data convertion from different OCR programs into oceanic XML.

Thanks, these seem to match, what about The Thing?

And, btw, does it work for your other files?

LBML doesn't have any other maps, it is only for mining and AFAIK there is no mining at The Thing yet. Also no Space or Crystal Palace station for the same reason.

I tried the exporter on my log files and it didn't work. No idea why, since it works fine with your example file.

    It gives me this error:

Here is a small log file of some ark mining runs so you can test it and figure out the problem:

Thanks for checking! That error was because of some empty lines at the end of LBML files.
If you download the importer now, it should work.

Works perfectly now. It just needs a few minor adjustments for the dumb and impatient :D.

First time I used it with a huge file (all my mining claims in the last year), as soon as I read the "Loading OK" message I closed the importer. But I couldn't find the imported file in the Data folder.
-A progress bar or % would be useful here. Or a "please wait" message.

Second time I thought, HA! I got this now, you won't fool me anymore. So I waited after the OK messages. Then came a "processing input file..." message so I waited, and waited.... 5 minutes later I was thinking that maybe the program freezed, but nope, the file had already been imported and was in the Data folder.
-So a "DONE" or "IMPORT SUCCESSFUL" message at the end would be nice too :).

Other than that it is great, I will start messing with Oceanic to see if i can make it squeal :D.

Thanks for putting the importer and oceanic under the stress :D, that's exactly what's needed. There are quite a few downloads, but not so much feedback so far.

Currently what you see during the conversion process is the tech log window, if everything is OK it should end saying something like:

SUCCESS, entries processed: 83, skipped: 0
PRESS 'e' to return to the menu. OK

But you're right, I'll come up with a better progress window shortly.

Maybe i am just plain stupid - but i have to ask. I am trying to zoom the map - is the only way to do that by changing manually zoom factor or am i missing out here on something simple? Mouse wheel isnt working for me - tried that already.

Mouse wheel is the way to go for zooming the map and scrolling the lists on the right side - to make it work you need to click on oceanic first, anywhere you like, this will give the application focus and the wheel will start working. It won't work right away after you open oceanic.
