It is nice to see that better GYRO faps has start to drop. but .... How can they ever compete with Vivo faps from caly? The have higher requierement than those vivo that do the same heals and are less eco than them??? Is this some kind of mistake? GYRO FAP-40 (L) does 25.96 heal / sec and req level 35!!!! and eco is 9.98 (prolly as all othere gyro is that) Vivo UR150 (L) does 24.76 heal / sec and req level 28 and eco is 10 Any comment from the one and only A-team ....
Don't forget, we haven't seen any of the combat FAPs yet. So it may be too early to compare when only 1/2 of the line exists. jc
Looted Caly Faps have only a eco of 9.50, so that looks good in my book. The UR150 is crafted from L BPs, don't think there is an ul BP around. And the markup on it refects that. UR150 and the odd UR225 was added because at that time we complained about the gaps to the next bigger fap. The UR225 is a UR200 anyway. If balancing team has not forgot about them i wouldn't be surprised if they remove them again (by not dropping L prints anymore.) So i really would compare the Gyro35 to UR125 and the Gyro40 to SK80. And you are right, the higher skill requirement is a bit mean. But with more volume of parametic skills in mission rewards then a hunter gained naturally in years before..
The biggest problem is the skill requirement. As a UR200 fap user i cant see any GYRO fap that i can start using instead - maybe the combat fap - but if a combat fap should be any good it should heal faster and if it does that it would prolly be not as eco as using a UR200.....
The Arkadian FAPs in general seem to have somewhat stiffer requirements skills wise, see Vivo 15 -> Gyro 18 -> Vivo 20 -> Gyro 22 -> Gyro 26 -> SK-50. Of course, the Arkadian FAP set is not really complete, so possibly it will all start to make sense when the higher hps combat faps are added in. I have always felt the adjusted / adapted fap variants on Calypso offered too small advantage over the base. Faps providing a considerably better healing at same level would probably also be less eco though, the Neverdie LS series is a good example here of where the extreme on this takes you.
Yes, i see your point Yquem. Would be in the same shoes up there. I think some gaps will get closed but i do not think that will happen with smooth lines on a per planet base.
There's a lot of unequality at arkadia. Look at the weapon BPs, an ark weapon from 9th lvl bp is as good as a 13th lvl bp at caly, and a hell of a lot cheaper to craft. If something doesn't happen to balance things between planets then the caly weapons will go extinct.
