Description:
As an underground dwelling creature the Scoria was first encountered when a mining excavation drilled through to the cave system it inhabits.

Curious by nature the Scoria immediately followed the tunnel to the surface and began exploring the surrounding area.

Lacking eyes it is believed that the Scoria locates and tracks nearby objects utilising other senses with some hypothesising that much of its head acts as a sensory organ.

When angered its large claw-like appendages are capable of engaging multiple opponents at once.

Hmm, may need a team to go hunt these waskely underground buggers, they look a bit tough for me to solo them. But will definitely check them out today after work

was wearing ghost with 5b fairly easy, but load of HP so take some ammo, good team hunt mob

 

Yes they are tv mobs - auto shoot and return in half an hour

the description says its claws can damage multiple enemies at the same time. Is this some kind of AOE damage?

 

Just checked them out, my first impression fighting a young was whoop another upper mid level to uber mob, nothing for me to try to hunt economically. Way to high of health, pretty fast regen, youngs crit for 78 wearing shogun with 6a plates. A3 MKII is worthless against them unless you are in a team. My 105 HP is not enough to stand toe to toe against them.

So guess unless I am in a team of 6 or more have fun uber hunters these mobs are not for me. Was somewhat disappointed, figured it would have been a mid level mob starting around the Oratan's level. Oh well back to my mining.

These will be great for teams for sure, they have hell of a high HP and take for ever to kill solo (at least for me), so I will only hunt them in teams now. But I did have to try them out.

 

Same here... Just had to try them out once.. using my GeoTrek AL17: 94 shots * .16 PED/shot = 15.04 PED per kill (including a couple misses and crits in there, as well).

 

Next time I am in game Kmax, Rick will send message in forum try and meet you add to FL, will be a good fun team hunt anytime we go can always invite you

 

I only find oa to stalker at section J, where is smaller ones?

Me as fapper and my hunter got a crit at the same time, he 1.0 in grem+5b and I'm without armor 13.8 and was additional crit so they definetly do this :/

Edit: between 5-10hits every mob on me as fapper (prov - domi)

is the damage divided between the two of you (like with rockets and granades) or did it do max damge to both?
