You need to check the Estates forum. There is a discussion about where ppl want the first shops and what they should cost. As the A-team reads this forum carefully, I wouldn't be surprised, if this has some influence.
Any more news with this? Arkadia is by far the best place. But there are just too few people, and listing stuff in auction is just too unsafe. That creates a problems for all players, because they have a hard time finding what they need. For example, I was hunting on Arkadia, but I took all on Calypso to sell there, simply because I do not trust that stuff will sell on Arkadia. With a shop any more people could just dump stuff there and go and stay active. My wish would be that Arkadia would put 10-20 shops near each TP. That would boost the economy. Simply because more people will have easier time finding stuff. Then again, real peds are made when people have a hard time getting what they want...
The first Shop booths will go on sale following the update next week. Shops in Celeste Harbour we anticipate will go on sale following the update due in January. We have limits on shops that we can release that is linked to player numbers, so as the playerbase on Arkadia grows so can the number of available shops.
Dave, can you release any details of the shop booths prior to the update? Approximate number? Capacity? Location(s)? I'd really like to be thinking about this and what it's worth to me before they go on auction? Regards, KikkiJikki
