    Hi Luciphear,

There are multiple lvl10-lvl15 hunting options on Arkadia. As for planet comparisons, not sure what you mean exactly. If you plan to stay awhile, bring your often used tools, items, and place them in Arkadia storage.

    Have a safe space flight.

Here is a page that gives a good intro, no stats, however --> beastiary

I myself a lvl 8/9 atm, and I am only using TT+1 weapons, and am still pretty much grinding oros. In recent experience with the Ostelok that was introduced recently, are easy kills as long as it is the youngs, but the others are much harder, and I even die if I try to attack an older one such as mature or something with 100+ HP.

So there are plenty of mobs for you to pick from.

There is some room for low levels here, much less than on Calypso though.

If you are a hunter, you won't be able to sell skins with MU, they can only go to TT.

If you are a miner and you use Rookie Finders, make sure you bring tons of them with you, as you won't be able to buy them here at trade terminal.

All TT equipment here is (L), if you plan to use any (U) items buy them before you come here.

Sweat: some people might buy a couple kk from you at 4-5 PED but it doesn't happen often.

All in all, expect higher cost of play with the same loot, at low level maybe 5-7 mobs you can hunt, 1-2 quests you can complete.

I believe Jenny Ferr was buying skins, so perhaps no need to TT them, and the textures should be here soon, meaning that a fair number of the hides may actually then be in demand.

    Just worth bearing in mind.

There are a few people buying skins, gearing up their supply for textures. Dont disc the low mob skins so quickly as some are required material for skilling up.

You will indeed find a place here on Arkadia, there are a lot of people going back and forth, so don't treat it as such a big deal. I go back and forth and take players for free with me. :)

I suggest stocking up on supplies if you can afford it, then arrange for a service to take you back to calypso so you can auction all of your resources for a good price. :) Ofcourse if you can afford not to TT anything. All in all, Arkadia is awesome! The atmosphere is amazing, it feels very next-gen as opposed to Rock-tropia or Calypso. Calypso is very nice and expansive, but Arkadia will grow in time. Calypso is by far the biggest planet and lots and lots of different mobs and mining locations, and not to forget the nostalgia! :)

You will love Arkadia, especially on the artistic sense, the style and feel that it has is very cool and futuristic. Instead of Calypso's snobby pristine look. hehe Stupid auctions. -_-

On a more economic note, I think it's the perfect place for low-mid level players. I'm level 21 laser sniper , and I'm still grinding oro's just for fun. I always seem to almost break even, and hunt for hours on just a cycle of 30 ped. It's consistent for me at least.

    Wish ya luck!

No please :( Our auction is an essential part of our economy becoming stable. As a 'hobby' crafter, one who doesn't regularly buy big amounts of ores or hides or whatever from traders, but one who goes to the auction to buy whatever I don't have enough of to craft the things I want to at that particular time, the result of so many taking stuff to Calypso to sell or just tting it is pretty noticable. If you can afford to build up reasonable piles of things, please consider at least trying them on Arkadia auction first, true it may not sell, but then again it might? Smaller amounts as well, I know it's not economical to put up anything below a certain size stack, but there is no reason that I can see to only put up stacks of ores and mats that cost a buyer at least 200ped and up per shot.

    Just my 2pecs.

Ah yes, Lee, very true. I was only speaking from a new players point of view, how it would be interesting to them. But you're absolutely right, only I was referring to the items you can't get on Arkadia, the trip alone is a huge risk, and should be commendable and could be sold at a higher price on another planet. Especially Calypso.

I understand the economy needs to be stronger here on Arkadia, I'm just saying interplanetary transport is flipping cool. :D

Please don't transport stackables through space. It only encourages the pirates.

It depends... Some things you can get in limited quantities... AL17's, for example, show up in limited quantities once in a while.. Sometimes you'll find a few LR32's... I'd prefer to use Arkadia weapons, myself, but the rarity of the mid-range versions creates a bit of a problem in that regard.

The big difference between the two is that it is harder to sell mining and hunting loot then on Calypso, there is no Twin Peaks where you can quickly offload your stacks to traders. The trade off however is that you do get much higher mu for your goods and you learn to work directly with the crafters and effectiively cut the middle man out. I would however say that Arkadia is for the players that have a bit bigger float and for those that are much more independent.

Another thing that some ppl love and others hate is that HOF's/Uber/Ath is much more rare on Arkadia then on Calypso. The loot is a little bit better spread around. The ATH chasers hate this while those that want good average returns (me) love this setup.

Lastly Arkadia reminds me of the old PE in many ways, its a wild frontier waiting to be discovered. Throw some peds in the loot and you would think your back in 2003.

All things considered I love Arkadia and I will never go back to Calypso if I can help it.

PS. Cyrus if that doesn't get me a smugler gun on my next hunt I dont know what will ;)

Hirofox is already active most days around the quarry or other firebases hunting newbie mobs or sweating.

Arkadia is the best planet for lower levels atm, I suggest (if you already haven't) is to go! Immediately! The gameplay there will definitely be better than Calypso. Obviously nothing much will change, but the story is definitely better and more accustomed to actual gameplay. It's the perfect planet for the gamer scene. :)

    Hi Luci,

in my opinion Arkadia is very well suited for younger players or those that prefer to play low-cost. There's a wide assortment of mobs suiting all tiers, and they are usually placed in single-mob spawns, with wide empty areas between. This makes mining very interesting!

The planet itself is just plain beautifully, a great landscape with very few obstacles - completely different to the situation on Calypso where you are blocked every other time, and need to walk huge detours. The setting is, in my humble opinion, far more like the old (pre CE) Calypso then the Calypso of today.

You'll see less people compared to Calypso, but many of them are very nice, and there's ways more "community feeling" among us. We have an own Advisor system, a Rescue Team, even an Arkadian Star Fleet. You'll always find reliable help if in need.

For gear, I'd think to bring a set of Shogun armor (or Ghost/ Knight). These are well suiting the local mobs. A M2100 (TT pistol) would be useful, too. Maybe vehicles, but these should be available here by now, too. Or soon.
What else? Maybe one of the UL FAPs, FAP 50, 2350, 2600? They come handy sometimes ...

Anything else is available on planet already.

You should keep in mind that Arkadia is a developing planet. You'd be kind of a pioneer here. This can be a blessing or a curse, depends of your view.

    I hope this could help,

    have a good time!
