ITEM DISCOVERY CHALLENGE - 5 Blueprints to be won

A Warp Drive I (L) Blueprint (L) with TT value 0.50 PED will be awarded to each of the first five (5) colonists to discover any item that is specific to Planet Arkadia. Items can be discovered via hunting, mining and crafting actitivites.

BONUS CRAFTING CHALLENGE - 1 Blueprint to be won

A Warp Drive II (L) Blueprint (L) with TT value 0.50 PED will be awarded to the colonist with the highest number of crafting globals (not their combined value) in the seven (7) day competition period.


When:

Both Challenges begin on the 4th of November (00:00) in-game time.
Press “U” in-game to find out the current in-game time.

Item Discovery Challenge ends after the first 5 discoveries have happened.
Bonus Crafting Challenge ends on the 10th of November (24:00) in-game time.

Rules​

• Item Discovery Challenge will run, starting 4th of November (0000), until all 5 Warp Drive (L) Blueprint (L) has been won.

• Each Colonist is only eligible to win one prize from the Item Discovery Challenge. Therefore, in the event of a colonist making a second discovery during the competition, the 5th prize will go to the colonist who makes the sixth discovery, and so on.

• To qualify, all discoveries must be Planet Arkadia specific items.

• Bonus Crafting Challenge will run for a period of seven (7) days, starting from 4th of November (0000) and ending on 10th of November (2400) MA time.

• A "crafting global" is any loot registering a value higher than 50 PED, including HOF (Hall of Fame) and ATH (All Time High), that was achieved by manufacturing/crafting.

• EntropiaTracker (www.entropiatracker.com) will be used to track and decide upon the winners of both the Item Discovery Challenge and the Bonus Crafting Challenge. Participants must run the EntropiaTracker software to ensure discoveries and globals are logged on Planet Arkadia. If you have any concerns about tracker not recording a global, please contact Starfinder with a valid screenshot of the global. Missed globals and discoveries will not be entertained if you do not run the EntropiaTracker.

• Any Colonist can win the Bonus Crafting Challenge.

• It is possible, for example, for a single colonist to win one Item Discovery Challenge prize and also the Bonus Crafting Challenge prize.

• Crafting must be done on Planet Arkadia. You can choose to craft Blueprints from any planets. EntropiaTracker will track your location in the Entropia Universe, so please ensure you run the program.

• A Blueprint discovery and the subsequent manufacturing of the item from that Blueprint only counts as one discovery for the purpose of this event.

• In the event that there is a tie for the Bonus Crafting Challenge, the first player to have achieved the points will win the prize. For example, if two players each achieve 20 globals, and this is the higest result so they appear to have tied for first place, the first player to have reached 20 globals will win the prize.

• There will not be a leaderboard available this time round. Winners for this event will be announced on the forum.

• Prizes will be ready for collection from Cyrus as soon as they are verified.

• Final call on prize winners will be decided by Arkadia Studios.

 

Can you please clarify - the for the bonus crafting challenge you are only counting total number of crafting globals?

Means to me is the number of global, not how much a global is worth. So a global of 50 ped is counted just like a global of 750 ped.

Thanks Jim, my question is actually about the type of global counted. My assumption is crafting only but I am just looking for confirmation.

 

That is correct. Only crafting globals will be counted for the Bonus Crafting Challenge.

If we can win a Warp Drive Blueprint, does it mean we can find on Planet Arkadia all the necessary materials to craft Warp Drives? Does it mean there is an Arkadia mob looting Generic Fuse?

 

hmm that is a nice challenge. However how are we miners supposed to discover new Arkadian items?!?

I can assume it would have to be a NEW discovery?

...Otherwise I can see mass lag at the start time and 5 BPs being won with Carabok hide.

We've updated the rules to make it clearer that the globals for the Bonus Crafting Challenge have to be from crafting.

Is it just that certain crafters have been crafting like crazy or has the drop rate for UL BPs of Ark guns increased over the last few days?

 

i have spent twice the amaunt of veda you can buy in Ah each week= 1 bp qr 85 other 52 ark ones + more
in tracker top 5 miners in veda,ospra,wenrex,star,vorn ( trying to leave my mining but you cant supply me enough )
brought and bought a ton of resorces another 4 bp up to lvl 50 qr + a few more in 20s + clicked one already at 100
so hard work + planification + knowledge + friends who supplies me ( thanxs all ) help on my side
so do the math and you know drop rate

 

I think this event is sucking the supply market try ... Refined oil was at 107% BO last night pre-event, now BO is at 115%.
