The effects of texures and color

What I want to know is what the textures look like when applied with color. Maybe with everyones help we can post here different texture/color combinations.

Also curious if MA has a systematic way color effects the textures or is this something that is made up when introducing a new texture?

Isn't it so that you get to see a preview before applying a texture or paint? A preview of what it looks like when done 100%. "All" it takes then is someone to screenshot every possible combination and you're set.

Problem with that is that you can't put both texture and paint in the same tool for a preview at the same time, so one or the other would have to be already applied, which could be a costly 'experiment' for the sake of a preview screenshot. I'm sure we will see more combinations though over time.

now that I am almost done making texture demo helicopters I can start making color screen shots but it does take a long time O.O

Yep, I think it's a really worthwhile project. Let us know if you need any particular paints for your screenshots. The paint market on Arkadia is pretty non-existent!

 

I have multi cans of every single paint in game in my arkadia storage so i can do XD

 

I expect that to gradually change now that we have textures.
