Are you really sure that advertising another planet (or a specific destination) is helping the planet?

If i'm not mistaken that's not exactly right...

 

I cant see whats wrong with him noting that now that he is on Caly and will be going to the Thing, that he got a spare seat left.. We ARE allowed to visit other planets you know..

 

I do advertise Arkadia on my flight. I belong to a society called "Arkadians Unleashed" and happily display the soc name above my avatar. So in a way it is a way to draw more people to Arkadia because of such nice gestures as this. But I am basically targeting other people from Arkadia, that are on Calypso, that if they want a free ride to "The Thing" event they are welcome to come along for free.

 

Yep not at all wrong. Plenty of people post stuff that doesn't directly benefit Arkadia. And to justify this post I'm going to add that the rewards for the "hunt the thing" are very cool and very worth the peds it takes to do the mission... a fast truck and a fast helicopter.

Added Mentorship to Services and made some other small changes to spelling, and clarifications.

 

Added 4 new job openings, and added new space hunting service (temporary to see how it goes).

The Thing special service for 10 PED round trip and I help with the missions ends Nov 18th.

*fixed some random grammar and spelling also.

 

Its really a shame that tracker will not show THING globals... It kept alot of traffic from going there... and after a bit the globals dropped off due to less people hunting.... its still a fun place... but no more 18 global in 1 day SOC hunts... each planet has its draw for avatars at certain lvl's.... so you cannot lock yourself down to just 1.... that's just silly.... research, travel, explore, and conquer !!!! and yes Arkadia is the best of the burgeoning planets, so dont worry...... players will return after their vacations 8)

Thanks Chuck, I too really like The Thing Event, it is designed in a way for all levels of play, they did a real nice job even with the few bugs I found it was still great 4 hours of play to run through it. I've also ran about 20 people through the escape mission thats my favorite one, BAMF's are so awesome... Mortisha and I actually cleared that entire cave out one night was not a single Thing in there for more them 10 min once we thought we broke the spawning engine LOL

 

I added details on how I will be doing my mentoring service.

 

-Removed Hunt the Thing Special Offer Service
-Moved mentoring data to New Player Area -> Mentoring
-Updated Service information
-Replaced Mentor Service post with K-Max's Marketing Service where I will from time to time list items I am willing to trade in game and for what prices ( special rules listed about items already in auction and who gets first claims to items).

 

I have new job openings, check out the first post in this forum.

I also refined the job hiring rules so they are simpler to understand and places employee and employer more of in a 50/50 partnership where employer gets needed materials/resources and employee gets paid evenly for their work.

I have been running this method on about 10 test hunts (low to mid level mobs) and it has been working out well and my employees have been very satisfied with profits and skills they have achieved from these jobs.
