Halloween gifts ?

I think they are Caly specific.. I remember ppl having to go to caly to get the Halloween skeleton outfit..

 

Yea i lived on RT for a year and didn't get any of the stuff everyone else did on cally not that i care really.

 

Yes, Caly specific, including when it was owned by FPC. I was there for last halloween so got that stuff, but was on NI at Christmas, so didn't get the gifts then, but wasn't concerned since they were a bit lame compared to past gifts (just bought some later-the sparklers). That pretty much confirmed for me that it was planet specific.

 

Well it was orinially given to "Entropians" for participation in the "Universe" and MA gave them out. It only got segregated to Calypso when MA split them off as the ruling entity of the "universe" which consisted soley of Calypso as MA had just focused on the platform. Even so it is universe wide gift for anyone based on time in game reconition and financial contribution. You simply have to be there to collect.

That was a non issue before full on pvp space. Having to go to Calypso to obtain "universal" holiday gifts now would be another method of "steering" players to Calypso Imo and needs to be addressed at a platform level.

 

Caly people got theirs now, but when I did a relog to see if I got mine none was there so guess you need to go to Caly this time too... :/

I find it disappointing that there is often a sense of entitlement when it comes to freebies. If PPs have time to hand something out great! But I would prefer they concentrate on delivery of outstanding features and content that enhances gameplay.

 

I can tell those that hasnt heard that it is fireworks.. a batch of 50 uses for the standard/non-depositor, and then another with 100 uses for those that has depoed a certain amount.. Not even an UL thing like clothing or anything..

 

They're fun to try, I just shot off a couple to see what they looked like.. But they're not worth anything.. They're limited.. TT value of 0.00... Kind of retarded, but could be fun once in a while...

 

I have to admit a 4hr round trip through lootable space to collect some fireworks that I'll put in storage doesn't really entice me to make the trip

 

well ya sadly no gifts on arkadia :/ but i atleast got little 50 ped copper global (even i had to pay 10 $ deposit for it ) lol

 

Yeah, I was there anyway for some other stuff and letting a soc member visit for a few days and just got 'em while I was there...

 

had some business on FOMA, so just picked up my fireworks there too now.

But as Rex said, make up our own holidays on Arkadia if the A-team plan on doing something like these gifts in the future when we passed Calypso in every way

1.) @ A-Team:
No problem that there are no gifts here. They're useless anyways. The great job you do for us is by far more valuable then a bit of fireworks. I'd burn it to praise you anyways ;-)

2.) @ Calypso-Crew:
This is bad manners. You are feeding from my money, even if I never was asked what planet I'd like to pay for - when I started there wasn't any other planet. So I'm an involuntary and enforced "Calypso tax payer", and even a "2nd rate tax payer" as long as I'm not on Calypso at certain dates. No presents for me - well, no more presents for you, too. Get lost.

I think something should be done about. I'll think of what can be done.
