Non-existing or limited supply materials on Arkadia

To help Arkadia to become a self-sustaining planet, it must self-produce enough materials to meet the demand, and reduce, if not eliminate, the need to import any material from other planets.

The purpose of this list is the maintain a list of materials on Arkadia that are either non-existing, or very limited supply, but have very high demands. This list should provide useful information for the A-Team to forward the necessary balancing adjustment requests to MA.

Please post any materials and what it is required for, that you deem non-existence or lacking on Arkadia.

I know other lists has been created, but it seems they serve different purposes.

How about Somin tar? I see only one auction listing for it. BTW, we also need a list of what is available, but not enough of to meet the demand.

I am basically just going down the list for what is required to make hotfoot, and from what I understand, focusing lens is a part that is seriously lacking, hence no one makes it.

I believe until we come up with a list like this, it will be very hard to know just exactly why even the most basic entry level items are not in auctions on Arkadia.

 

Pyrite seems to be missing for me?

Somin Tar/glue is an arkadian only resource, I find it regularly.

I could swear that I've looted basic leather extractors while I've been on Ark and it can only have been from Oro, Halix or Jori as they're the only mobs I hunt.

I'll keep a watch on my loot and confirm it though.

 

As far as i know, Petonium is a FOMA unique ore.. So that really doesnt count..

 

I hunt mostly oro and jori as well and I do not have any basic leather in my storage. I do have a few other ones, however.

But it does mean we need to import it, hence not self-producing. Maybe this material needs to be removed from whatever requires it.

Yquem: Is it possible to have your list sorted by alpha?

 

I've spent a lot of time hunting various mobs on Arkadia, except the larger ones they still kick my butt pretty bad. But I can say any mob level 35 and below do not drop basic leather extractors or I have never seen one drop them on Arkadia yet.

Attackat I'll check my Ore list to see I have any of those ores you mentioned as non-existent I have no ores other then Arkaida Mined ores in my storage facility. I never brought any over from Calypso and have not bought anything but Belkar from anyone so far and that ore does drop on Arkadia.

 

Oro drop advanced leather extractors, not the basic ones (well not in over 12k kills anyway).

 

Please do check. If you guys have found them. then we will discuss if they need to be moved into the "lack of supply" list.

If Oros have, it's been before while they still dropped muscle oil...

 

Frigulite should be present on Arkadia, since it is used in the MAKO FAL-1 and ASI-30. I'm 90% sure I found some before the ore reshuffling, but I haven't personally found it since then. However.... there is little demand for it. I've been trying to sell a batch for months.

I guess that brings up the point... for this list to be useful, we need to determine the actual demand for each of the materials on the non-existant and limited supply lists.

 

Yes. That was why I requested for the "purpose" to go with the said material. With this list, I hope we can at least put the spot light on the materials that we need now but lacks, and to help out the A-team with additional information; anything to help Arkadia's growth.

I can see MAKO FAL-1 not being crafted since that is TT, but in time, people should be needing ASI-30s. So while ATM there may not be demand for ASI-30s and hence Frigulite, but a thriving planet should have a healthy demand for it.

The Frigulite was before the re-alignment. I'd hazard a guess that ASI-30 doesn't use it anymore, either.


EDIT: Don't pay much attention to Entropedia yet since 90% of the Arkadia bps haven't been updated with the new formulas.

EDIT 2: MAKO FAL-1 bp is excellent for skilling.. Hence why it's on the technician. Even if it's not crafted for selling, you could craft a bunch and use them yourself until they broke and then TT them.
