Hi Bad, and welcome to Arkadia Forum! There's a new mentoring system that just came in, so take your time to select a good mentor (some people have put their information here). Presumably you are making/have made your way through the Firebase Academy starter missions. You can find more information in the New Player Guides here). The other thing to do is find/go to Celeste Quarry, and with any luck you may find yourself an Arkadia Adviser, whom you can recognise by the green and yellow vest. Advisers appear in the forum here with a yellow badge under their ID. One of them will probably post in here soon Good luck!
Thank you for your reply Tim and the good advice given. I will look into these now directly to see what I can find. I have read some about this mentoring, but will hold off a week or two before going ahead with something like that. As I want to be sure first that I will put in the time and effort that is needed in this game from what I gather. Thanks again Bad
Welcome to Arkadia and the forum Bad. The Quarry is the best place to find Advisors usually if you need any help or just want to ask some questions, or of course you can ask here or pm any of us, if we can't answer the question we can find someone who can Good luck out there!

Well, my intital questions are of course. Now when I complted the newbie missions I thought I would try to look around some. I read on the other forum that walking is good because I might get luckey finding something on the ground. Then I hear about this sweating and that is what I would have to test now to see if I can start getting a few coins to maybe try something else. Thank you for kind reply I am sure I will be one of those helpless cases in the begning, but hope to learn fast.

Liked the tips for the quick buttons. Really helped out. Im at the quarry now trying to sweat, but going real slow. I don't seem to get much as they keep hitting me so fast. But hopefully will get better.
sweating works best if u can cooperate with a group. get in a circle around ur target. then the hits get split between u. plus its a good way to get to know other players. Regards, KikkiJikki
I would love that aspect, but sadly there is nobody around here. There was one guy who sweated 2 mobs with me then left. Maybe I am in the wrong place? Thank you for good tip.
That is just a matter of timing really, sometimes folks around and other times not. In the evening MA time (UTC) there tends to be more people around, players and advisors. If anyone is around who uses mindforce they often help out by healing and provided 'focus' while you sweat (allows you to not lose concentration so easily). While you are being hit in these earlier stages, you are building up skills naturally, like evade, which will over time help you to evade the hits a bit Good start, see you ingame later maybe.
Welcome to Arkadia You can also find a lot of information on http://www.entropedia.info. Map of planet and all points of interest is useful for beginners. Also has a lot of statistics on creatures and items, the site is maintained by players like you so not all the info is 100% but it is usually pretty close. Also if you see me in game I'll be glade to go on some teleporter walks/runs/rides with you just ask.

Welcome to the madness Bad!. Reading is your best survival tool in EU. It seems you have been doing some already so keep it up and lead with knowlege and not your ped card. I have been hanging out around the quarry a bit and I will help you out a bit with your sweating when I am there if we cross paths. I can keep you alive with heals and clear the dry mobs if you wish. I dont yet have a Mindforce focus chip but can help in other ways to mke your start a tad easier.
