So those genius of MA scaled the Universe, fair. They also introduced warp, cool. But now to fly between planets take for ever, and between wing, truster, warp, fuel, etcetc for a player fly to another planet is becoming very expensive. Not sure about the price to fly with a wing/warp from Calyspo to Arkadia, but looks like is no more a popular amount of ped. My question is? is with this the trading between planets dead? is MA make the life difficult to us to help the owners of large vessels?? MA want that each one stay in his own planet using the space just like PVP?
What do you think about? do you have some first hand data about the time/cost/ to fly between planets w/wt warp?
    thx

Fuel cost: 1,14ped (surface to surface)
Flight time: 1hour 19min 32sec (atmosphere to atmosphere, straight line no pirates)

pls can you confirm that warp is just for large vessels???? so if you want to be a pirate in order to attack a vessel you need mines, pray than a vessel bump them, then be sufficient wing to take it down but still the vessel can warp again................... i see all this always more and more complicated................. and just for how many 10? 20? large vessels in game????

If you want to trade items in space, trade the crafted items that are not lootable. I recommend no one bring any lootable items into space. For certain BPs like welding wire, this presents a problem.

Motherships and Privateers are supposed to have some advantages compared to the smaller, cheaper ones.

Haven't you watched Battlestar Galactica? Only the big ships can "jump" ;)

    To OP:

It may seen to be a limitation, but also we need to keep in mind that this is the 2nd modification MA has done about "Space", so you can be sure there will be more to come.

Maybe they are setting up space for additional ships/equipment. If such is the case, then you now can further break down ship types by range/speed classifications.

you right..... so this could be applied to any other viper if necessary i guess ;).
Back in topic, i really don t see any needs to give just to few people the possibility to make fast trade between planets. A lot of those people brought the ship just for fun

and this is more than fair. But this can impact the universal trade..... and the effects here on Arkadia are evident. I hope MA will extend the warp option to any flyship

To me it makes sense. Now it makes a difference in between shipping and moving. They want you to spend longer time on planet. Before the MS's main advantage was its ability to be upgraded making it very strong but still slow. This way ppl can pay to take a quicker and possibly more secure flight.

I havent flown on a MS since the warp drives came out, so im not sure how they work movement wise. I was thinking it would work like a tp chip and would be some what like pvp areas. When a flag appears, hit the warp button and where you end relies on your skills.

My point was not that welding wire is lootable (it isn't) but that the BP uses lootable resources from different planets. In order to make welding wire, you need Alternative ingot from RT and Ospra ingot from Arkadia... and since you have to bring these into one place to craft, you need to take at least one through a lootable zone. Now what you can do is summon one person from RT with alternative ingot to a mothership and summon another with Ospra from Arkadia to the same ship. The two people share resources and craft in space. Is there a crafting terminal on a mothership? If not, you can craft at Howling Mine.

Sleipnir Mk.I (L) information (Ark to Caly)

Fuel cost: 1.14ped (surface to surface)
Flight time: 1hr 19min 32sec (atmosphere to atmosphere, straight line no pirates)

Sleipnir Mk.II (L) information (Ark to Caly)
    Fuel cost:
Flight time: 1hr 19min 32sec (atmosphere to atmosphere, straight line no pirates)

Quad Wing Interceptor (L) information (Ark to Caly)
Fuel cost: 1.28 PED (Launch to landing)
Flight time: 45min 10sec (atmosphere to atmosphere, straight line no pirates)

This last bit of information i did myself for the quad. Of ocurse one thing is that I noted all the launch points that might save fuel into space.
Even a vertical costs more fuel in the flight into space. so you have to fnd the highest points on each planet to get the least amount of fuel burn.

Also with Re-entry I have found a perfect trick to use to save fuel on the descent especially when there is no passenger in the vehicle with you. So this too saves fuel, and gets you down quicker..

But these are just tricks I have learned while in space.
