Should animated GIF's be banned on the forum especially for the avatar pictures? I see one so far and it's sooo annoying! If you don't know what i'm talking about have a look at any post by forum admin Vantastic! Yes i know some will find it funny blah blah blah. I just find it irritating (I reserve the right to be a grumpy old man ) ... I'm tempted to make my own forum avatar gif and i'll make sure it's even more annoying than anything out there ...
Hmmm, what would you say if it would be a nice dancing bikini girl but i agree such animation should stop after 2 or 3 times repeading
i cant see anything wrong with it personally, some static images are more off putting than some animated ones
I admit that I too found that avi very irritating to say the least, glad to see it is changed The problem is that as Butch said an image can be off putting whether it is static or animated, so really no reason to ban anything. I haven't read the forum rules (or even looked for that matter to see if there are any), but would assume the basic 'could be offensive' stuff has already been covered as something not allowed or encouraged, simply to make an attempt to keep the tone a bit more grown up. I for one don't need yet another site full of bouncing boobs and thrusting pelvis animations, as I don't particularly see what that has to do with Arkadia?
As disturbing as it was I was getting used to it,which in itself is a little disturbing Perhaps a nice animated Lamp?
That Gif kinda creeped me out a bit but I also laughed a little .. Strange. I like the Gif's specially the one Alice uses on PCF
