About mentorships running when VU10 came???

Hi all.. Since im on my way to school, i cant update and log in myself to check.. Is there anyone in here who was either mentoring someone or was a disciple when VU10 came, that can shed light to this:

"Disciples and mentors from the old system will automatically be converted to the new implementation."

Basicly i wonder which of these 3 scenarios that is the right one:
me and my BF (he was my mentor when VU10 came) will get a gift each, as i have graduated.
We will have to continue and i have to get the number of skill points i was missing in my progress when VU10 came.
I will have to start from scratch?

Both of the 2 last scenarios would be kinda hilarious and make no sence, seeing as im way higher skilled than him these days.. (hooray for being a depo- and chip-whore )

Please help me guys.. What does it really mean?

I still have all the deciples I had before VU 10 and theire all still on the same lvl (seems not one of them played sins VU 10)

 

Hi Fopsie.. Thnx for the response.. my BF just confirmed to me that i am at 100%, but he cannot claim any gift for me.. We are wondering if I have to login first, for that to happen..

 

Most likely both of you have to be online inorder to complete the system

 

from 42 disicles i got now 16
2 of them at 100%

no active avater no dicipile so i lost atlest 2 graduated

 

afaik you have to do 3 more things with your mentor to graduate even if you are on 100%.......short hunting/mining and crafting run....so ´wrote Dex on PCF.......

 

right click with mouse-----system-----mentoring..there you can register ...needed to ask myself to figure it out

 

Talk about going off topic.. But its okay guys.. We need all the info we can get about all this... I cant wait to get home an login.. Wanna finish as a disciple and become a Mentor.. LOL

Right. I've just managed to graduate, figured out the procedure for a disciple, assuming you already have the skills required from way back as I did. Rightclick anywhere and select system/mentoring; you will get a window that tells you need to complete three tasks (team hunt, manufacture something, mine.) Get in a team with your mentor; it doesn't matter if you are on different planets (my mentor and I were!). You need to kill one mob, make one item and get one find. Then a button comes up saying "graduate". Click that and rate your mentor; you've graduated! It's worth the effort; the graduation prize is a nice suit of armour. It's called "adjusted pixie" but it's about as good as shogun, and you get the full set.

I would be interested to know what skill levels you need to attain if you start off as a newbie disciple.

 

Yeah i finally did get it done.. My bf is not satisfied.. He got Hunter Gloves Mentor Ed while i got the whole Adjusted Pixie Set along with a Vehicle that overall is better than my Valk..

 

I wonder does the mentor get random gifts? It wouldn't make much sense to get 20 pairs of hunter gloves mentor edition

MIND: Lemme get ingame.. TT value is just 1.5 ped, that i can remember.. The rest.. I'll edit this one when i get in.. TT value is now 1.47 after one of my disciples drove it from Twin and to the outpost NE.. LOL (still on Caly)



Oh and my bf finished his other old disciple and got.. tadaaaaaa... another set of hunter gloves.. :O

 

Done.. And yep.. Really beaming with joy.. At least it had more TT this time..

 

hehe I already got my first 4 disciples.. Sadly on Caly as im there atm, but they are good.. I dont care about the mentor gifts tho.. I just do what i do anyways as an adviser.. But i did have some fun with them opaloing argos last night.. We were all 5 on vent, so i could mentor them all at the same time.. THAT was fucking awesome..
