Who hacked my profile picture ??? Administrators ??

It's really unfair to have your data messed with like that , I'll be waiting for explanations by the Administrators's team of this forum,

I think somebody here has really crossed the line and I'll not let the person who did it get away with it

    Welcome to ignore.

Honestly administrators would not delete non offensive profile pics and if they really wanted to do something to your account they would bann it not delete a profile pic giving you more reason to troll the forum. If someone els hacked your account they would do much more to it then delete a stupid profile pic so this leads me to the conclusion that ether the pic somehow went corup or you deleted it yourself in an attempt to further stur up trouble on the forum against the admins.

Taking a look at your overal post history I think its save to say the latter is whats happening here.

Aslo if your so upset about this forum why are you here? 75% of your posts is complaining about the forum 20% is complaining about one individual 4% is about you being a pirate and then a socalled knight and 1% is saying hi.

I understand now , somebody did it deliberately to then accusing me of faking an account hijack , don't worry , I understand you don't like me , so I'll just quit this forum at one condition, delete all posts talking about me in the Pirates and Knights section, I don't desire to be talked about on this forum.

I didn't fake an account hacking , somebody did it for real and then deleted the pic after I found out ...

I can confirm this was a real hack. This is a timely reminder to keep your passwords safe and log on with caution on public computers etc...

Xman, I don't think there's a reasons to delete any mention of you, but as a friendly piece of advice, perhaps a little restraint with your posts might not see you targeted...

You apparently aren't the only one who's had stuff messed with Xman. Can I ask that everyone check your profiles etc and PM us if you see any alterations.

Make sure you don't give your account info to anyone guys and remember to have your security stuff up to date.

Might be worth us looking up the latest security fixes for the forum too.

I must say I did notice the pic, and kept looking at it for a long time because something about it just didn't seem right and I couldn't figure out what it was... not laughing at the hacking, but laughing at myself for being so observant and unobservant at the same time...

o_O wow strange that they only deleted a pic as its not normal behavior for a cracker to just delete something simple like that when they usualy messup your account completely and lock you out. Sins its confurmed that your account was infact cracked im sorry for acusing you .Xman for faking an account hack.

Exactly the reason why I't appeared more like an attempt to sturup more trouble against the administrators because the wording looks like your acusing the admins of messing with your account more then asking WTF is going on.
Recomend that you do a complete virus and spyware scann on your computer and afterwards change your forum aswell as e-mail passwords and if you dont already have a goldcard get one just to be save ingame.

PS. stay away from AVG freeware (detects the virus but usualy lets it pass) - Norton get a virus (misses a lot and usualy only detects after the file has been infected and almost always fails at repairing) - Mcafee (slows down your pc a lot and misses a lot of viruses) - Bit deffender (even worse then Mcafee)

Personaly I would recomend Avast 5 (the free edition is brilliant the pro even more). I have nether in the 5+ years of using it had any problems with viruses or spyware on my personal pc nor has it ever bulkedown my pc even with an active scan running. It even warns you beforehand that a site has been reported as installing viruses before you can enter the site.
    Avira is also good.

O and Avast can even detect potential mallware even without it being in its DB and it also has a sandbox option allowing you to savely run a virus without it being capable of infecting your PC (good to use when your unsure about a program or keygen or something simular)

    Regards
    Shiro

i can recommend ESET NOD 32. Been using it for years on both my main PC and my Laptop, never had a virus get past it and never had any security issues *touch wood*

I'm glad it's all sorted and everyone has had a bit of a reminder to stay vigilante. I'm going to close this thread now as the original issue is resolved.

If anyone has any questions or concerns regarding security, please don't hesitate to contact me or Snape via PM.
