    Hello.
As some of you might know, im the creator and administrator of Entropia Tracker.
Entropia Tracker is the single largest community site for Entropia Universe which keeps track of global records.

Even your globals are recorded by Entropia Tracker! You can find various useful informations on the site. Information such as daily turnover, view latest Huron globals, see how many globals you have got in your EU life (since 2008), what your biggest globals ever has been, various graphs and charts about all mobs, items and minerals inside Entropia Universe.

However, some of the data on the site require you to subscribe to the various features on the site. Some of those features do actually cost money - HOWEVER, if you run the Entropia Tracker client for 15 hours or more each month from Arkadia.. Then you get EVERYTHING for free on the site.

Entropi Tracker can only record information from inside Entropia Universe if enough people are running the client on the various planets, and sadly in the past few weeks Arkadia has been struggling to maintain a "feeding population" which will cover all the globals on Arkadia - thus some globals have not been recorded.
We need to get full coverage of all globals on Arkadia!!!

Therefore I would like you to check out the Entropia Tracker website at www.entropiatracker.com and have a look at what Entropia Tracker can do for you. If you like the site and what it can do, I strongly urge you to run the Entropia Tracker client.
When you run the client, which is a very small program, then it will take automated screen-shots of all your globals, it will tell you what your weapon statistics are (not only theoretical numbers), plot on a map where you have found minerals (if you select it to remember those informations), and much much more.

It is worth mentioning that Entropia Tracker is the only program that is officially supported by MindArk - who has received the entire source code for the program and accepted the functionality and capabilities of the program as not interfering with Entropia Universe.
In other words, this is the only 3rd party program MindArk has given the thumbs up!

But for this program/website to work - we need a good feeding population.
Please help us by running the Entropia Tracker client whenever you are playing Entropia Universe! You will not regret it!

If you have any questions about Entropia Tracker, please do not hesitate to ask me. :)
    Kind regards Starfinder

Entropia Tracker has done a great service to everyone in Entropia Universe recording and showing globals and HoF. In particular, the members of my society, Argentrópicos, we benefit from the ability to display that information on our website (www.argentropia.com.ar) using the API facilities of Entropia Tracker.

My appreciation for the excellent work done by Starfinder with Entropia Tracker and my recommendation to all the colons of Arkadia, rookies or veterans, to register, download and run the software.

Are there instructions someplace on how to track mining finds? How is the map accessed etc.

    Usage guide:

The Entropia Tracker Mapper Add-on will automatically send your global locations to the Entropia Tracker database. You can, from the settings page on www.entropiatracker.com change the permissions on who can view your global locations.

If you mine, regular claims that are not globals will also be logged. If you find no resources on a dropped bomb (NRF) you can press the "PAUSE" button on your keyboard to log this location.

Maybe optionally the soft can show a few letters such as "ET Ok!" in some corner of the screen as a sign that the Entropia Tracker client is running smoothly.

Thats against the contract I signed with MindArk.
Yes, I had to sign a contract and mail it to them.
Also, its a "you cant discuss anything bla bla bla" type of thing in the end - so I can not say what it said more than "I can not put any info into the Entropia Universe window"... :)

I would like to invite anyone who thinks Entropia Tracker is something good for the community, to put a little "shoutout" to Entropia Tracker in their signature with a link to www.entropiatracker.com - or to use an Entropia Tracker signature here on Arkadia.

We need - ideally - about 10 times as many ppl to run the ET client on arkadia to be 100% sure to get full coverage.
I have maximum seen like 10 ppl run the client in the last few days from arkadia, while calypso has +100.

Remember, if you run the tracker client for +15 hours each month on arkadia, you get full access to everything on the site without paying me anything.
I just want to provide you with the best service possible.

I have selected to start ET every time I start my computer - this way, I dont have to "remember anything" - ET is always running when I play EU... Otherwise I would forget to run ET.
(Drag the EntropiaTracker.exe from the Entropia Tracker folder into the start folder in your programs menu in windows.....)

Log on to ET website, on the settings page about midway down in the right column. I think it is right above the section where it shows how man clients are running for each location. You can also expand that, and it will show you your hours for each planet that you have visited with the tracker running. Hope that helps.

i would rather see Entropia develope something like addons.
WoW makes use of that and beside that most people ruin entire interfaces,
it pretty much does bring forth innovative idea's for the game.
As WoW after a few years imported some of the addons created by users to the main structure of their game.

I can see an entropia tracker and various other addons coming up for the EU players.
perhaps in time EU can make use of these addons for their own main game structure aswell.

    just an idea,
back on topic.. use the tracker program :) free credits, unlocks good features :)

Can the ET mapper be used on Arkadia? I was playing around with it tonight but didn't see a map of Arkadia in the add-on app.

How do we gain access to additional features once we reached this 15 hrs requirement?

    Hi,

Something like this is being discussed here. Feel free to help bumping :)

Supporting this question. Even if I'm hidden in the tracker I installed the client now for the benefit of the community, but this map thingie is beyond my insight. Does it work at all on Arkadia, and if, how?

    Have a good time!
