FAIR for ALL!!!! An Ideal Event Suggestion

I voted "yes" but let me clarify:

It's very simple. I am NOT saying that all events should be Ark only weapons, i just saying i would participate.
That'd prolly be some hella coding so I wouldn't hold my breath for one.


As to what I think Raven is hitting on, I think it'd be better if the event was "timed".
But then again, these "grinding" events do have their merits as well. They do pump a buncha ped into the planet and a war of attrican should pop out some nice prizes for the all night, everyday grinders.
I know i can't do that, I'd be even more loopy than I already am!

So have some events like this one - play as much as you can until a date, have others "timed" like the Merry Mayhem.
And if it's possible to make a "weapon/planet" specific event, sure go for that too.
Variety is what keeps it interesting and challenging.

I would be more inclined to compete more feircely in a "timed" event tho.
I am hunting in this event but not to win, no way. I simply don't have that kind of turnover. I just try to ride the "loot train".


Hm...On "timed" events, I wonder....Is there a way to have a "time in/time out" to participate?
I'd hate to log in just to reload auctions, or socialize and have it could against my "competition" time....

there has been event after event since the comp started. coupled with terrible loot on ark from Huon. Not sure about the loot from other mobs. but huon hasnt even had a 1k hof in like 2 months but oro have had 3 already 2k or better in last 2 weeks for example

I think you are being a little paranoid. No reason for MA to screw with the planet partners. Their business model is set up so that if a planet does well then so do they.

The Migration and Super-Size event happens this time every year on Calypso. And it's also the anniversary of the bot-invasion. Would you rather Calypso forgo these annual events in order to appease the A-Team's timing of the hunting competition?

And loot conspiracies? C'mon Raven!! I KNOW you're smarter than that.

 

puck i do see your point on the event timing. I think a better time should have been set for this event. or at least shorter. so people can enjoy all of the different events and competitions. So I was wrong on this

Kikki, I must have missed the one 1k that is listed in the past 2 months, however my point still stands, huon 1 1k in last 2 months and oro 5 ubers in last 3 weeks. seems out of wack 5k's and 2k's and couple 1k's... just seems huon loot is overly diluted compared to other mobs when looking at data, and also considering my own loot return average on them... maybe i just have bad luck, but i dont think that is the case, any thoughts on this

I don't know why some mobs have higher hofs in a given period. I have had a few days where I get 1 or 2 globals while I watch your name (and a few others) repeatedly scrolling up the screen. And then I have a good day like today. The competition has been going for a couple of weeks. Given the hp of the mobs its quite feasible to have a bad patch lasting that long for an individual player. Personally I have had days with good returns and days with extremely poor returns. I don't think there is a plot against huon hunters.

But I'm ready for my 50k hof now thanks. Any time in the next couple of weeks will be fine thanks MA...
