Hello everyone, might be posting this in the wrong forum no idea. Whatever. So yeah heres the story. Played entropia since 2002 but quit about 2 years ago. Now i came back to take my cash out and whoops im stuck again. Theres a ton of new stuff around and im wondering what exactly? planets for a starter (woohooo?). is there any guide to read on viechles, space and planets and what not? Anything else new? Anyway after reading around a bit it seems to me that arkadia is the place to be, however - since im 100% crafter only - it seems stupid to go. i have tons of high end high qr bps but those will be more or less useless on arkadia amirite? since the calypso ores dont drop on arkadia..... or do they? also, can arkadia bps only be looted on arkadia and vice versa? are there many miners on arkadia? is the market big there yet? I wanna get all those new juicy bps and would love to rule the arkadia market - but i still wanna be able to use my apis, p5a, mining attachment, prosecutor bps and everything. also wanna start crafting viechles. those might need ores from several planets even? Yeah as you see i dont know shit. a kind soul please tell me what i want to know or link me a guide ^^ thanks

In fact, some of us think too many Calypso bp's loot while crafting with Arkadia bps, but of course Arkadia bp's do drop from Arkadia bp's. "Many" is matter of opinion... heh. While there are a considerable amount of miners, myself included, running around on Arkadia, the numbers are growing. The market is only 4 months old, and despite vigorous efforts from the more-than competent Arkadia staff, the crafting market is still in it's infancy stage. Need more miners / hunters / traders so that the crafters can have enough materials. Latest Arkadia patch altered most Arkadia bp's to require resources than can be found on Arkadia. There are some space releated bps', etc. that require trans-planet resources. Good luck with crafting again!
hey mate thanks for the reply. So crafting calypso weapons on calypso still allows me to loot any arkadia blueprint, but with a less frequent rate? or does it maybe work as the ores, some basic ones for all over and some planet specific ones depending on where you're crafting? or is it connected to what bp you are using rather then where you are? thanks.
Only Arkadia bp's will loot arkadia bp's. Entropia "shared" bp's (aka. many calypso bp's) will not loot Arkadia bp's.
As long as you're on Arkadia, yes they will. I've looted dozens of Arkadia component bps off of Standard Locks, for example.. And off of Basic Filters... Several Arkadia weapon bps (L and UL) I've looted off of a Breer M3a bp.
Same here, as long as you are on Arkadia you can loot the arkadian blueprints, regarding of what you are crafting (well exluding stuff like components, clothes and vehicles off course since there is no arkadian blueprint for that at the moment). Or are you saying you can loot arkadian blueprints while crafting an arkadian blueprint on another planet as well?
That I have not tested, so I don't know. But if I craft Calypso components on Arkadia, I will loot Arkadia component bps at least once in a while. Clothes and textures will be the same way when they get released. And no problem Puck Glad to straighten you out.
We all need to get into our heads that what we think of as "Calypso" BP's are mostly "shared" or "MA" BP's now. So, Basic Filters BP, for example, isn't a Calypso BP, but a shared BP. You can loot shared BP's on any planet from shared BP's or from planet specific BP's. You can only loot specific planet BP's if you are on that planet, but you can loot them from either shared or planet specific BP's. Example - You will not loot Rocktropia BP's while crafting on Arkadia.
Thanks guys think i got it now! Is there any info on what old bps are shared and wich are calypsian, same for ores? or is this not common knowledge as of yet?
