Quick note.. I will be working on the scoreboard today - which means that the place stuff is written, might be a little off while I work on it...
Please disregard info thats "odd" on the images.

I will post once they are done, and therefore accurate.

    Hi Guys,

As I've been getting a number of private messages with regards to event, I would like to clear some things up.

I've had an extensive discussion with the team and we have decided to continue this event as per the original rules laid out. However, I want you to know that as usual, we are taking on board your feedback. We will certainly be considering other options for our future events.

For this event, as long as people are complying with the EULA, they are not breaking the rules of the event. This also means that you are free to use different tactics such as hiring fappers or taggers for the event if you wish to and can afford to. Please play within your means.

The issue has been raised that some avatars will play up to 20-24 hours each day, and that this is impossible for people with regular lives to compete with.

We advise all players to remember that real life takes precedence over virtual life, and that playing for any such length of time may be an unhealthy thing to do. For this competition, we are unable to do anything reliable and fair about people who are prepared to ignore this advice, and they do so at their own risk.

For future competitions we will be investigating methods for enforcing time limit rules. We certainly hear you, and acknowledge the issue.

I realise this will not stop some people from playing crazy hours, and that is simply the way this competition is going to have to play out.

Finally, there have been numerous requests for the number of globals to show on the scoreboard - something we originally didn't intend to do. However, due to your feedback, we have asked Starfinder to recode it, which he has now done. (Cheers to Starfinder for acceding to my last min request again)

Thank you for your understanding and I hope you guys have a Hof'fin good time. May Lootius be with you.

I decided to not participate in this event, after losing my ass on Calypso and Arkadia over the past months. No deposits....no hunts...not playing at all most days. Following this thread, I suddenly noticed.... I'm a winner! (which is kinda sad, if you know what I mean)

Good luck to the brave Arkadian fighters with your battle against the Uber tourists. ;)

Does it mean that the Hidden avatars globals will be shown in your scoreboard?

Only the number of globals this avatar has got will be listed there. Not the global value, time or anything else...

So an Hidden avatars globals number will be correct in the scoreboard but we have no detail about his globals right?

I doubt any player play 20-24 hours a day. At least in lvl 5..nobady hunt like this. I personaly hunt around 12-13 hours average per day..and stryker i doubt he hunt more then 8 hours..sometimes more. In a 6 weeks event is suicide to hunt more then 14 hours per day. If you dont sleep at least 8-9 hours is hard to hunt even at a low level. Btw..the LA's taxes..sucks..and i believe these are the biggest mistake of this event. Should be at least 3% or something. That is why very few hunters will stay in this event more then one more week or so. Becouse of the tax and becouse of the lack of markup on loot . This event is good only for 2-3 hunters..very powerfull ones. I already put 20-25k ped loss for this long event in taxes and lack of markup. So my only chance is to win first or second prize to brake even...or i will loose a tone of peds.. But the rest of players? what will they do? is very very hard..even imposible for them to participate. Is good the events are for the best hunters..but if you ask me..should be more prizes..till 10th place..and no taxes..or lower taxes..like 3% or so. The event should be more fun for more players then few...but in the same time to reward the hard worker and the best hunter in that event too. Both types of players are egualy important.

The lack of traders and low economy is very important too here. Hunters can't sell to crafters or anyone. Space is a big problem here becouse he cut and block the trading and ''cultural'':) exchanges. One or two powerfull traders should talk to the owners or something. Or 3 events in the same time: hunting crafting and mining. Maybe even a trading event or something in the same time.

No ofence to anyone..is just my opinion for better events in the future. I just told what i have in mind..maybe will help the owners with some ideeas of mine:p

I like the idea of more prizes. Could we make that retroactive? lol

    yeah, what he said :)

maybe throw in the ark50 and asi50 and swords and things to 10th place or some UL armor or amps?

even though they would be late added prizes i think we would see a larger influx of hunters coming to do some grinding, which was the intent.
maybe add some ifn challenges for the event mobs?

So - by this you tell that it is allowed for an avarta to play 24/7 (with more than one player) and you tell that you will not take any action against those that does that and that you cant or wouldnt investigate more into this?

Then please tell me why i should continue in this event as a single hunter as ther will be no chance in hell for me to follow up with those accounts?

when i'm online, there are several entropia players talking in there all day long, you can verify for yourself.

Lol, I was being facetious about the extra prizes. Even though I would love to see a little gift turn up in my storage (perhaps a Miss Congeniality trophy) I dont think it would be fair to other players to change the rules or prizes halfway thru the comp. I confess I will be quite frustrated if I end in 4th position but I knew my chances of a prize were low when I started.

But for future comps sure. More prizes for all.

On the issue of people playing long hours, I think we should be cautious in assuming avatars are being shared to achieve this. Some people are just crazy or have the luxury of putting the rest of their life on hold and that is their legitimate choice. However there are things that the PP could do in cooperation with MA to detect shared avatars. Its not that difficult to review ip addresses of connections from individual avatars.

    Regards,
    KikkiJikki
