Scavenger hunt! Official IFN Announcement

Usually all of that days items are placed on the ground in a period of an hour, however Day 3 and 4 items will be placed later in the day, i will alternate mornings and afternoons my time for drops,

Ill announce soon when Day 3 Drop will begin

DAY3: Will begin later today, Time is being switched to allow later TZ's to get a chance to participate as well.

SPECIAL on todays Hunt:
A random item will be place in a random quantity. This item must be returned to me claim the real prize, failure to return the item, will result in this item being lost forever to the competition. and believe me its worth the find, and returning the item i drop. to prevent anyone from going to auction and just buying the item the amount that is dropped will be very specific, and ammount returned to me has to be EXACT. plus i will ask where they were found, make sure to Press P when u find them so i can verify the validity of the find. the Prize is worth the effort =). Worth more then the entire days drop value.

Just like to say thank you Raven for taking the time and trouble of running a really fun event.It's also been a real boost to us Noobs at a time when the sweat market is so quiet, absolutely brilliant

Very cool Raven, after we spoke I added a few more things in the direction we discussed,some serious things, like a law 101, some not so serious, someone will find 21 animal hides,lol, but its all in good fun.

Oh, and my own special drop for someone, a set of sunglasses I never wore, placed unceremoniously on the ground next to a large rock, that's all the hint you get.

 

cool, thanks for getting involved, as i said at the beginning, if you do get involved it doesnt have to be much, even a couple pecs is something to add to the fun

even the small amounts help =)

 

We have a month, so maybe if I feel like it someday, I'll see about doing a small run of fap 2's its been a while since I made anything, I need the practice.

Do you have to slow walk to find items on the ground, or normal travel fine?

 

u can run while searching, most items a big enough to be seen from a few meters away(if they aren´t hidden too well).

Well done mate, Scavenger hunt day 4 is still on, many things to find, GL everyone, Day 5 will be special,

Raven is having FAR too much fun out of this..lol.Hope things keep going well.

 

I am fairly new so I thought I'd look around and did find 6 items, I did not need them so left them. Then I saw a BP and thought, what an easy idea to add so I grabbed 25 duplicates I had in vault and spread them throughout the area as I searched for the garnets Thank you for our work, it really is quite fun and I am getting to know that area like the back of my hand now. This is a great idea to get other areas searched as well. Just outstanding guys.

 

im So glad people are enjoying it, love to see people having fun, I only ask in the spirit of the event people drop arkadian items, blueprints etc. but im not gonna stop ya

the more that get involved the greater the event will be later on. The spirit of the event was to allow people to explore, meet each other, have fun, maybe find soemthing useful. dont worry guys, Day 5 is about to begin, and the fun is only beginning, as more people show up, and get to know the area it will become more challenging yet exciting.

More people that get involved, the more items to find. and ive said it one and ill say it again, you dont have to be rich, as some people figured out, BPs work too, some new player may try crafting because of you =).

I like the idea. Sometimes you have spare things in storage, BP and others. But if someone drop things in ground can this things be deleted if no one find it?

 

good question, but with my experience miles, the number of people looking is astounding and each day that number gets bigger, i know almost for a fact 50% of the items are found within 30-1hr of the drop, by 2 hrs like 80% are found, and by 3-4 hrs im almost certain no items are left. However as far as i know items are not deleted unless theres a server reset, server crash, etc.

maybe Dave or Cyrus know a bit more and can tell us, but i doubt its in issue, with the number of people we have participating =)

 

I look around Celeste Quarry 1 or 2 times since this event start and i can say i not see a lot green dot really.
