Reason for this: Hard to see auc history for it and how much it has sold lately: ... and the last one that I spotted on auc: So what would be an okay-price for it? I know... what ever anyone is willing to pay for one but would be nice to hear what would be considered as going price for it nowdays. It could have been an old Enmatter or Ore amp originally (and they varied in price quite a bit), but now we have just one Level 1 Amplifier UL and this SGA version of it too. Difference between the regular Level 1 Amplifier and the SGA Edition, was the weight of the amp (correct me if I'm wrong on this one) otherwise the same specs on both amps. -- Hyssch --
Hmmm if at least one has been sold in auction previously, why isn't it showing up in the available list?
I have a regular Level 1 UL amp (not SGA Edition), but it shows no previous auc-history, so I guess none of these have been sold on ingame auc after that big mining VU update on amps. Would like to find out the going price for it and as I said, there is no right price for it, other than what someone would be willing to pay for one... -- Hyssch --
Since I wasn't sure of the going price for my amp and this thread didn't get much activity, I placed the amp on Calypso.auc few mins ago. Thought I let the bidders decide the price -- Hyssch --
It's hard to determine the price, it's a nice tool. However most miners that use amps want to have bigger amps and most miners will make more peds if they use a limited finder 2 amplifier even at 107% markup. That being said I hope for you it sells, and if it doesn't i'm willing to pay 3k peds for it.
Few days ago, I got an offer of 4,5k peds on PM and he said been bidding 4,6k on Auc. for Level 1 Amp SGA Edition (UL) of which is basicly the same amp spec-wise but weights less. So I know it might get something around 4,5k peds nowdays, but not for sure... one day there's a buyer, and the next day nix, so have to wait and see how this ends... If it doesnt get sold on ingame auction, then I think I keep it myself for lil' time longer. I like mining with that amp, for unlike higher level ones, it has a decent amount of drops untill broken. Usually I took 400peds worth of probes and that's about 133 drops if mining both at the same time. When it says broken when mining both, there's still one use left when selecting enmatter only. Besides, not that high risks involved... if You get NRF, well... didn't cost that much to drop amped, but if You find that 40pedder then even that small 1.3 Eff. is enough to push that over to a global Reason for selling it? Looks like I'm spending more time traveling in space now that space finally opened, so would be a waste of a good amp to keep it in my storage if there's some fulltime miner that could put it in good use. If it doesnt' sell, then I guess I have to start mining again and see what I can get with that little amp of mine -- Hyssch --

Heheh... I wouldn't be all that sure that he does, but at least I've got some rough idea of what it could fetch if sold, even if it doesn't sell on auc this time. (Got that PM offer of 4,5k on PCF) So, not sorry for this thread or placing my amp on auc. I'm sure there are others who have the same amp and since the big mining VU that messed up all the amps, this amp hasn't yet got its history of sales or bids, so at least it helps to get some idea of what its worth etc. -- Hyssch --
Those kind of amps are rarely sold at auction this is why market history does not reflect the real price. I'm still the owner of the Level 1 SGA. The auction displayed in the screenshot was just to allow a friend on another planet to see the stats of that baby. The Level 1 SGA is in fact the old MA-101 SGA and auction history is showing the only sale that happend before the mining revamp. Now speaking about the price of that amp ... this will strongly depend on the miner that use it. I personnaly base myself on the peds saved versus current market price over 1.000 uses. So actually around 6 peds x 1000 uses. But it's just my view on it as it is compatible with my playing style and my business model. it can be totally different for another miner. PS : I don't plan to sell the SGA
I'm sure it is. You can check on Tracker and see when I stopped using mine and got thruster for my VTOL and started my space-adventures UL amp and Arkadia is a nice combo for sure! Hehe
