Comparing the night sky to space

If you look up there are some very interesting sights in the sky, nearby planetoids, space debris from derelict ships, etc.

Is any of that reflected by what is actually up there when you get into space? Would be way cool to cruise through or hide in a cloud of wrecked space ships.

No KJ, none of that 'special to Arkadia' stuff is up there at the moment. Arkadia is for now a bit of a boring grey blob, but yes, I have hopes that time may change all that

Apologies for the quality, when I took some of my pics I was busy playing with graphic settings to get what I wanted and trying not to crash the ship at the same time

Thanks for the photo. I like the colour of space.

 

Actually when I got home to Arkadia this weekend, I could see the wreck debris circling around Arkadia.
The time you made the pick, it is possible that the debris was at the backside of the planet.


To bad I didn't take a screeny.

Really? Well guess I must get my booty back up there and have another look

 

Yeah I remember it well, when I saw it on approach to the planet it really gave me the feeling of coming home.
