Ospra Boycot (Until we are even with Calypso)

Dear Arkadians,

We are the Ospra pool.
All planets need the Ospra for repairs.

I sugest no interplanetary Trade until we are even with Caly and can do afortable spacetravel for own interest In/Export.

We have the power.
No Arkadian Spacetravel = No Ospra

What you think about?

 

Well, if I understand your post correctly, I think then that players would just come from other planets and get it to take back with them.

 

SOunds nice and all but arnt we stopped the first interplanet trade thingie then ? Ospra is the newbies rock and it will increase MU then

 

I think it would be stupid to cut off our noses to spite our face! If we are strong on a resource I think we should help eachother.... Daft to hurt the game, we want to make Arkadia strong not isolate ourselves

Not even by do a 100 Dollar Deposit to get one cause Auction cut-off !
And that Caly Cash nOObs go in space with a 65 Dollar Deposit directly?

Im not even able to collect my stuff from my Caly Storrage.

LOL. You didn't take care of your Caly storage and now you want us to boycott Ospra? We were warned we would not be able to TP between planets. We were told space would be PVP. We were not told it would be lootable PVP (which sucks).

High bid gets my Ospra. My only question is do I cash out Ark and go back to Caly...one way trip. Or cash out Caly and park on Ark? Or can I make a profit in space. Not likely as I am not an uber and PVP sucks IMO.

 

And mine too! MU makes the worlds go round.

 

Boycotts will never work in this game. Its set up that there are enough loyal people to MA who can do everything, who get handed everything, and stand up for MA against everything that they alone can outlast any who try to go against MA. Besdies you will NEVER get enough people to agree a boycott is necessary to even get MA and friends to even look in the direction the yelling about a boycott is coming from.

The only way to force change is for the majority of the player base to stop handing them money. Enough people are kept happy to perpetuate EU and the addcitive nature of the people this game attracts will not allow any organised stoppage of the money flow.

In the real world its called price fixing - we just all have to agree on what will be the minimum price and stick to it.

beside the problem of dumpers.
But better some dumpers than permanent under worth.

Very good idea! a price fixing on Ospra is by far the best solution for us

 

Before any of this price fixing, do we know the exact population on each planet?

If we are talking only a handful, it wont matter much anyway since only a handful can gather these goods ... so supply will be further limited. But if we are talking thousands, you will never be able to do any price fixing as someone will always come in and sell at a lower MU. Why? Because for whatever reason, they need their PED on hand sooner then you need yours.

So, just let the market play itself out. I am sure whatever ideas you have about monopolizing anything, others are thinking of them too elsewhere.

Price fixing:
When you do it - good idea.
When others do it - market manipulation, monopoly and exploit.

 

Yesterday i see Ospra market value up about 150% if i must believe auction %. This is someone can sell at this price and someone buy. I think too boycot not work. Other planet can boycot us for other ores we need too. They need Ospra, we can need Belkar or Frigulite. This is interplanetary trade. Fix the price is not solution too. Is equal old "not sell sweat under xxx price" threads.
