We are Arkadia's pioneers (not the soc)

As the title say's, we are Arkadia's pioneers.
And I don't mean the soc in this case

I want to share my thoughts on the current situation on Arkadia.
I brows the forums from time to time and see people complaining about Arkadia.
It is not yet what they hoped for etc, etc.
And I see those who already found there place here, I want to call these people the Arkadia's Pioneers.
And I am one of those.

We understand that a new world will not work as one who is around for a few years.
Not every system is in place yet, not all items found there way into the world and economy at this point.
Things need to be balanced and the economy needs to grow.
Those are the hard times.

And in those hard times, we are importand.
It is upon our shoulders to make Arkadia a succes.
The Arkadia Team did a awesome kickoff by creating this planet, and it's upon us to jumpstart it.
And together we can make the magic work.
And we will do it, I know we will.

As happens now, the a-team has great communication with us pioneers.
We provide the needed feedback to them and they turn it into the things we love.
And we are the ones to get the economy moving and growing.

And I have to say, I feel honored to be a pioneer.
To help Arkadia growing and to see it heading to a bright future.
This is the second time for me to witness this, first was when I started in pre gold.

And I will feel honored when later our beloved planet has grown and florishes.
When new people arive and feel happy here.
When older Entropians return and say they love it here.

Than I will feel proud and honored, because I was among the people who have helped to get there.
I was a part in the process of growing.
And I have survived the current hard times to make it all happen.


Therefor I want to say to all Arkadia's pioneers.
I am honored and proud to be among of you and to experience this little wonder.
And we together with the a-team will be the ones who pull this off.

I couldn't have said that anywhere near as good as you just did. But those are my thoughts. I've only been playing a short 7 months, but I came here to help grow a new planet. Through good times and bad, this is where I will stay until I end my playing. Indeed it is an honor to be a part of this new world.

 

I've been on calypto since 2005 and have seen good times, bad times and have heard much of better times.
From the first moment i've heard of planet arkadia i got hooked by it's storyline and design of the buildings.
The vision that was shared online in video's was enough to keep my interest and move to this new planet for exploration.

Since i arrived on arkadia i've seen many people around with various opinions,
some were dissapointment because they've expected Treasure hunting and more content to be seen.
Others like myself saw oppertunity and prosparity in this new planet, and have now started to become a part of the playerbase on arkadia.

I will be on planet arkadia a lot since it attracts me, and perhaps in time i will call it my home.
But we will never forget the old calypso times!

Anyways, very well spoken Ion. i do agree with your entire story,
we are as he said the new pioneers of arkadia. let's make some of it!

I totally agree with you there.

I think what people forget with all the hype about Arkadia before it went online, is that it is still highly under development. Look for instance at the other two planets that launched before arkadia did, where are they now in their development? Personally I think Arkadia has overtaken them at launch date already. Now we just have to wait and see how ma screws up space and interplanetary travel and make the best out of it.

I will stay here, once I got an appartment, I can officially call it home and I will go on holiday to caly.

 

many of us that have come in the first wave, were pioneers before, we helped colonize a new world full of hope and wonder. i know ill never run my TPs again in ojs with a broken punisher mkII. but the feeling of wonder, of new lands, new mobs and new toys is what brought me here. its awesome to me after five years to be at the forefront once again.
atlan, i have screenshots of you and me and mom and all kinds of folk dancing around the NAZ, from WAAAY back......
along the way, in the past several years, lots of those folks drifted away.....
it was a wonderful sight to see many of the old faces, from PA square, Old Twin Peaks, and lol Camp Pheonix...
Arkadia has brought back much of the wonder. im proud to be an Arkadian.

I'm so glad there are others that feel as I do. I am proud to be an Arkadian and I have high hopes here without the fear of letdown that I used to know.

 

Finally I get to be part of something new here in EU.. I myself am proud... "Let's get this Crackin"

I agree too. I don't regret that I sold my shop with a loss at Calypso, just to leave everything behind and stay here. I had a good feeling about the planet and even with the missing things, I am 100% sure, that we will see a lot more and quicker improvements than any other planet will have.

And it fells good to be a part of a game, where you can say something and the devs listen to you. Maybe they disagree, but they discuss with you sometimes... which is GREAT! So yes, this is a great place to be!

I'm glad more people agree on the "pioneer" concept!

When I heard about Arkadia I thought "bah yet another planet...". Then came the time when I signed in on the forum and I read the story. I was hooked. I knew there was something huge coming, a new adventure for our thirst of uncovered lands.
After some time I felt something needed to be done to unite those who were leaving Calypso to live their dreams on the other side of the Universe.
Hopefully someone would notice it, hopefully someone would join me on this journey.
And they responded to the call. (A wonderful bunch of great people. )
This is how Arkadia Pioneers society was born. I didn't do it for me.
I did it for Planet Arkadia, and those who were setting foot on the planet and decided this place would be their home.

Some joined and some didn't, but I know if they stay it's because they are Pioneers too.
We, who decided to be here from the beginning, are Arkadia's Pioneers.
No matter from which society we are.

I am so proud to be a part of this planet and the community that is so supportive of the planet. I know for a fact that if the Dev team was not as helpful to us this planet would have gone no where. So I give my brownie points to the Dev team and to the community that I for one am proud to be a part of.
