Today I looted a Herman LAW 101 (L) and tried to sell it with some MU.. I had no idea it's a TT weapon :dark: I'm used to the fact that TT items do not have MU and can not be put on the Auction, not true for Arkadia, oops...
Well some player at claypso or other planet like to buy it it got MU hahahaha so no need to say sorry
I personally did not find it so funny that you Faye listed a bunch of TT weapons at 160% in the local Arkadia auction exactly at a time we was getting a lot of new players.
Ahh yes my experiment see if it indeed worked. it didnt really. And i believe it was before the new player weekend. Anyways it is a nice thing the TT weapons are also looted and crafted. The auction gives ppl on other planets also a chance to look at teh weapons and buy them even making the market more open. It is something also we havent seen before in the universe. Where TT weapons can be looted and crafted too. So in all the newbies get their weapon from arkadia TT anyways. The TT weapon on auction are bought by Calypso player at claypso. Also wot I didnt find find it cool that claypso players whined about the TT weapons because it was (L) and began promoting Opalos the instant they where on Arkadia. Too bad only the LAW-101 has better stats and so do the other Arkadia TT weapons. So if I am guilty for doing an experiment and placing items in auction (which can be by design) to see if they indeed sell. Then mwah that 2 ped richdom i get against eh peds I lose with creating free tp runs/ museum/ helping newbies ..... then yes blame little old me
Well, sadly it happens all the time that new players buy TT gear and blueprints at markup from the auction and then are disappointed to discover they overpayd. I thought that you of all people would know that.. And no, i don't blame you for anything, just saying i don't think it was a good idea.
Well the newbies I meet bought there stuff at Trade Terminals and the tutorials covering economy and auction including MU where very good. I also pulled the weapons btw from auction i think a day after. But this was before arkadia went to the exhibition so no new players where armed in any way. I sense you are disappointed with my actions. But overpaying for a weapon or buying a wrong weapon is formost the choice of the newbie it self. I can argue here that i explained a lot of newbies to buy the right stuff and they still go for the big Unlimited weapon with zero skills. Or bought that expensive gun they can get cheaper. This is also why it is called a free market. Look at the upcoming medium fighter market. if they are Limited and crafted then crafters will exploit it too. Same goes with the new items that are discovered at Arkadia now. The Market Value on arkadia weapons are too high for my taste too .. seems all players try to get some peds out of the new stuff. in time it will settle when more weapon get on the auction. This also will make new player hesitate to buy the arkadia guns and go for the Calypso guns suddenly . So in all it was an experiment , it was legal and no newbies where hurt. I know you are disappointed in me and keep thinking that. I can only improve then .
