Hey everyone, So after some digging around and trying to look through what I can share with everyone today I thought it would be awesome to take a look at the moon for a bit and see what is coming in a future update... or maybe it is already there... who knows This blog will be short and sweet, or so I hope but we will see where it ends. So PTEC did a thing... This hazmat suit will be required to do special missions for PTEC. Yup, you will require this piece of equipment to get into the dirty and dangerous areas of the moon. Without it, you will be another counter on the revive terminal. There are some extremely radioactive areas on the moon that will require that you go out and find those delicate resources to craft something of great important for the company as they require the assistance of the whole community to get civilization started on the moon. It is rumored that when PTEC sent out their last official to investigate an area, he went missing, we do however have the last image taken from the portable field drone. Maybe you will see something we missed. Strange Discoveries So a field drone was scouting around the moon and an extremely strange feint yet active signal was transmitting, almost like a distress call that is being sent out into the universe. The drone, following its programming went to find out what dangers there are and if life was present to repeat the call to a local station for assistance. The drone did however find the beacon, but sadly no life, whatever remained died many years ago. Here is a the official photograph from the site. Remaining on drone footage, the team who went out to discover more areas of the moon since it has been opened to the public, have discovered a series of mazes under the moon. The presence of an old culture was carved into all the walls. The creators of these passages haven't been present for a very long time but the team has still not sent us any information about the location of the entrance neither have we had an update of the progress of the team. They have gone quiet since the last report, one which had images of their discovery, now released to the public. The corridors are long but there is evidence in these images that some form of life is present within these walls - unfortunately, no report has yet been received. There are locked rooms, but we were warned in the reports that whenever a field drone approached these containment areas, they would be disabled by what is described as booby traps, it seems whatever was left here is also guarded. .: End of Report :. I would rather see the story line between the smugglers and IFN develop further, currently you have smugglers as a faction you can do stuff for but we have no REASON (story wise not just access to the instances) Smugglers have MANY people with their clothing, their group has to be gaining traction to a point where it would be starting to be noticed by the IFN government.
I am looking forward to spending time at Moon, first those Orotans - EUis definitely a long term project. And I know it is unlikely - but are there any types pf harvestable trees there?
Obviously some sort if mutated cactus - no doubt due to the high levels of radiation and/or mutagenic agents that the scientist? in the hazmat suit is worried about. As it seems that there are no harvestable plants on the moon, nothing to note here.
