We need help new players

First off i've been playing little over a month.
Came from Calypso soon after planet open.
Main problems as new player I see as of now.
1.To many new player bases 9 ouch (was at one 3 days didnt see anyone else).
(I would rather 100 new players start at same base then few lost.)
(With open tp's they can go to others starting bases by them self)

2. No sweat camp or good place for ( mobs to far from base turrets or water)

and for most part few old veterans hanging around new bases ,
remember they are all lost.(remember economy game more play better world)

 

Hence why I have been tping between all nine bases and so do others.

But the nine bases are way beter because the newbies get spread better and are not in danger of scammer the second the spawn. At claypso you get scammer the moment you say Hi.


The sweating can be done with carabok inside the tutorial bases. Expect making a larger sweat camp is perhaps also not such a good idea. Sweating is harder here which could create a higher prices. The prices on claypso dropped so much that it doesnt even is worth it anymore i see newbie sell for 2 ped 1k.

So rather to see it is a problem (whihc it isnt really) see it as a challenge. Arkadia is trying new stuff, like some lower graphics for smoother gameplay, big hp mobs for better loot. Nine newbies bases to get a better adventure.

Mind you too that this is just the start of the planet. in time it will settle and stuff gets improved like more missions, more story etc.

 

well with the sweat thing i generally fap people sweating the mobs as i come accross them, you just need to group up with some newbs, mostly i find that relentless firebase is a popular meeting area for most people

 

I'd sweat the Hadraada in the desert. They are incredibly slow but have decent HP (=sweat), you can basically kite them forever without taking damage and sweat away.

Sure.. it requires more concentration than a big sweating group.

 

Patience young paduan young jedis, soon all will fall right into place. Planet needs adjusting to community cos Planet is youngest of all planets and most in community. And Ubahs from socs! Take the time and make some swunt teams and play teacher/mentor please. I was supposed to be there to do this as Representitive of my SOC TD

 

well if any lowbies want to sweat and want me to fap you while you do it just le me know ^^ il gladly do it

 

Also give tips. how to make fast tabs. Got extra cash to spare, hand em a fap, gun and cheap armor. I myself do it at times and my favorate armor to give to a nub is Predator and brilliant start to skill with. Not to mention the fact that nubs love the look. Also do TP runs. teach em to walk correctly to gather fruits and stones. Just dont only fap, make team and join in swunt, sweat the mob dry together and kill it after lol

 

well im so new myself i cant spare anything lol, i cant do a tp run unless they want to run and i have half of them a it is and as for walk to get fruits and stones, no-one has explained that to me =]

as for swunting, well it would be nice to graba group but most of the time i see 2 people silently gathering sweat pingpong style who refuse to speak even if you fap em its rare and raw to come across a friendly newb group i find

Posted a Urgent message on our SOC forum. Arkadia will soon see a Temporal Destinies Representitive assisting Nubs arrive soon. I was supposed to be the one who filled this possition and ofc due to unforseen sercumstances, I am unable to do so right now.

 

Good sweat spots => Increased % afk sweaters => Increased supply => Sweat prices drop => The non-afk sweaters are the only ones bothered.

Just saying.

Well think about this. Have you seen the word FREE in any of Arkadia's Advertising?

I think they planned on fixing the misconception that you can just play for free easily. Asian Market is used to paying to play. We just need to focus on teaching them how to play smart so they dont blow there money quickly and not like how they wasted there money and show them how to enjoy spending it.

 

ad 1. I think I read somewhere that 3 out of the 9 new player bases are the default spawns for new people, so I guess we need to find out which ones are used and then it's easier for both new players and oldies trying to help.

ad 2. Personally, I want the sweat cap back. I don't mind new players sweating to get started with basic skills while still learning their way around, but seriously, I don't want freeloaders around, the Entropia Universe, like ALL planets, need depositors.
Depo just a tiny bit, buy a gun and kill the mobs you sweat. It's really simple.

I know how confusing everything is at the beginning, whenever I am up there and not on a killing spree I will go and help new players, so.. if you see me, just shout and ask away

 

Hi Bamaken, as Dave has mentioned, currently the new players spawn randomly through the 9 academy's. We are working to have this changed to 3 primary locations with the others as back up. The 3 primary spawn points will be Dauntless Academy, Resolute Academy and Relentless Academy.

 

And if some one looks for n00bies you can easy find me , if not ask OBOY in sanctuary cove he have me on FL and he looks like hi is playing 24/day :/

 

Would help if you fill out your full in game name in your forum info too
