Yes, I know, early days yet!! However, there appears to be quite a lot of room for confusion with 5-6 TPs all with the name "Outpost". Can whoever runs Arkadia please tell us when this will be sorted out?
Thats just it they are outposts. Not towns , cities ,settlements. They are like hunting camps in the wilderness a quick place for protection.That's it that's all
I hope it will be changed, to some easier to explain names, meeting somebody at Outpost TP can be tricky. There are 10 Outpost TPs FYI.
Outpost near the jungle ruins... Outpost north of Fearless... Outpost at position X/Y... It's not really that difficult, is it? :huh:
It's still somewhat dumb. Not like it's difficult to come up with some kind of name. I'm positive this is just a temporary name and will be changed.. at least I hope so. I see no reason whatsoever to have 10 TPs all called "outpost".
I'm gonna laugh so hard when we get an update and the new names are: Jungle Ruins Outpost... Fearless Outpost... Position X/Y Outpost... etc, etc....
Well it wouldn't differ much from the digsites and firebases yes. But at least it's less confusing. The very least one could expect is a unique name, even if it's just by a preceding "Panther" or "Fearless". Maybe an official will shed light on this. Just can't imagine this being intentional.
/pos ALWAYS works correctly...Well at least so far it has...Its also not that hard to type coords if you are not at that particular one. BUT... I assume that since many have asked for naming competitions and in the past ieams and places have been renamed for players that these will change in a reasoable amount of time anyway.
