I am not the slightest bit unsatisfied with my Dropship and never said anything to that tune. I knew its properties in advance and went on the mission because I wanted it, and not least because the effort required was foreseeable. Not going to repeat the discussion about tradability; remember it's a bonus reward in a mission already giving skills in amounts well in line with other pursuits. You don't pay one pec extra for it, plus they were said to have a purpose later. If this purpose has changed since inception, then I'm looking forward to what's in store. Bad instance returns are an issue in the Vaults and elsewhere, too, but the Warehouses have the interesting stuff yet to be discovered--theoretically. Are they already going the way of the Golden Door or is the threshold just not made yet? Not knowing this is the part I find discouraging, as said above. Let's say I could pour in X amount of dollars grinding them and end up with maybe one part only to find myself at the end of the rope, that's as good as having nothing. What I tried to point out was that already existing designs aren't completely "sold" to the community, and if there is another reward of the same magnitude thrown out before the previous one is known history, a constellation of in-house competition is created. May sound like fun for a game, in business terms this is not ideal. For the Smuggler Plates it has been answered recently, thanks for sharing. Someone just had to have the fortitude to be the first. The higher summit of gathering an armour set is far from being reached and this is a measure of the community's spending power and willingness. I'm all for great new stuff (and someone knows I like filing suggestions), but if it means falling into MA's habit of abandoning all their lose ends once announced with great fanfare because the next idea is the thing now, then the spending on development resources might not be as effective as it could. Unless there is a clean resolution that something didn't work. Above expressed ideas of exploring-type missions, storylines, puzzles and riddles, new and creative ways of teamwork -- that's the way to go this time, is my opinion. Grinding for extra big rewards can be added in time as seen fit. There still is an unsolved mystery down on the planet, maybe there is a connection or continuation on the moon already planned...? The straw fire effect of creative effort getting spoiled when after initial discovery everybody else just follows published information is something to think about, maybe. Lua is the game engine's scripting language, correct? Depending on what input variables are available to the game script, waypoints to visit or any kind of multiple choice could be crypto-mathematically tied to an avatar's birthday, hash of the name string or whatever.
Sounds like a smuggler based mission impossible type weekly or monthly mission? (maybe even a series of 20 daily instances, and the one you end up with that day is randomly chosen somehow?)
Well 1st time i saw the drop ship my jaws dropped too but having found out a dropship cant go in space i changed my mind and joined thes mugglers.wish everyone speak about the dropship like you do san i realy do.yeah i keep waiting for the storyline to unfold too hope it wont take many years.wont be alive for ever you know.lol.got to have fun while you still can not when you are too old.who know there are no age limit to having fun so will keep dreaming about killing the IFN ranks one by one.lol.Heidi bring your uber butt to ark.
Now you really lost me. Got something for free, this was already fun in itself. Whatever becomes of it, my life doesn't depend on it nor my having fun or not. There are other developments where people spent copious amounts of money on promises. I don't think it's fair to compare these things. Another idea: https://translate.google.com/transl...edia.proc.org/wiki/Marschiere-Viel&edit-text= (Machine translation weakness: The name means "March-A-Lot")
How about a second version of the alpha core collection based on themes and things related to the moon?... and perhaps an item trader on the main Arkadia that allows you to trade in individual cards or combinations of them to purchase various items or upgrades? (please no L crap though... maybe UL tradeable weapons, armor, or buff items, with the 'theme' related to each individual card trade in related in some way to the theme of the card itself you can trade in for it, etc.?)
But why not? UnL means it has to be hard and expensive to get and it will eventually reach an item cap making the whole process worthless. L could be made cheap and easy and repeatable and still very rewarding. I really wish ark would revisit the arkoin broker and the ifn L weapon upgrade ideas. So much potential there.
I'd like a dropship, and when I get around to finishing the mission I will, but it's not a priority, but I can't understand why people post negetively about a free vehicle which you earn by doing a mission that you might do anyway. I'm with San on this. See you in a week or so Hitman
As a noob I gotta ask, is the dropship the final reward for completing the IFN Ortan Payback mission chain?
You get the dropship for completing stage IX. For me it was a free reward for a mission series I do for the skill anyway. I find it very useful as a cargo pod as it can store 108 items, which keeps me mobile on planets that gives a large variety of different loot, causing me to quickly go over 200 items in carried storage. It can also carry 460 kg so I can send ore or ingots back to planet storage on the rare occasion that MA gives me a good find. (I don't mine much) In addition it has seats on 3 sides like a helicopter, so I can choose which side to exit after landing in the middle of a group of critters. I can also annoy some ubers at the Caly oil rig without having to replace my ship.
We just need remote control guns, mount it on the canopy and control it from the seat with a screen and stick/keyboard. I am sure I have seen such a design somewhere, can't think where but it is probably staring at me right now. 10 guns equivalent to a kismet would make for a lot of firepower. The bigger redesign required for guns would be the structural integrity required to carry the guns, speed loss due to increased weight etc, i.e. loss of the fast and nimble 'in and out' dropship mentality. Sadly such a use has not eventuated yet, except the unintended one at the Caly oil rig, but we remain hopeful.
Nice surprise! Got to take my statement back from above when I didn't expect them to inform us on the progress of deed sales. Guess y'all got the same email containing "Arkadia Studios has sold over 40 000 Arkadia Moon Deeds to date in the first discount level ..." Thanks for letting us know.
Er, no, but it might be greylisted or binned by one of the many layers of spam filtering. It is good to know though, and probably meant to be an incentive to get in on the last days of seriously discounted pricing. Who sent the email, Ark Studios or MA?
Mine ended up in spam, I´m guessing the nature of the email sets off the spam-detectors like crazy. Words like "Sale", "Invest", "Discount", "Purchase" It was sent by noreply@entropiauniverse.com, Subject line: Arkadia Moon Deeds
Hey dont forget i got you the 1st time without even moving a inch.lol.My friend Heidi tricked me to fight without armour and walla she Tpd on to me in full armour and i was wasted.lol.i have a nice picture of you wasted the 1st time.lol.Got to say one IFN high ranker showed up to save the day.Till next time Heidi. You wont be able to trick me again.
I think this moon should give something that the other planets do not ... or at least, little. Hunting and mining are on all the planets, and missions too .... it's more of the same ... Why do people go to Monria? for the mission of crafting, which gives enough skills to, daily, go up and end up being a pretty good crafter .... In Cyrene there are also craft missions, and I do them almost every day .... If in this new Luna would have crafting missions for skills, I'm sure it would be successful ..... And something new: There are no quests anywhere other than skills of colorizer or texturing skills ..... the most similar are the missions of RT with snakes, which gives skills of tailor .... All this is difficult and expensive to get ..... some missions that gave these skills would be very welcome by the community, I'm sure ......
