Competition Alpha Core Cards - Turn In Give Away

so, uh, now that I've started collecting these cards... couple of questions... since you don't get to keep the cards if you swap it in for the apartment, is there any incentive to keep the cards intead of getting an apartment? I read when the cards first came out that there were plans to expand the amount of cards eventually... Is that still the case... i.e. would it be silly to trade in full deck for an apartment when you can collect full deck + expansion deck for a Land Plot or shop?!?... or something better (arkadia hell - a secret new level of the aud with same number of deeds as the original aud, but this one's deeper underground than the original)... or ... use your imagination... (personal free tp between planets or something might be nice especially since the cards are lootable)

 

Nothing extra has ever been announced.

This is the first edition of a growing cards collection. More will be added in the future.

These card are a collectible, there will be rewards if you collect them all.

At some point certain cards and finding the right combination and handing them in might give a special item or the opportunity to participate in something.

In general cards (Alpha Core being first series) will be around for a season. Once the season is finished, trade for prizes type promotions will finish (a new season will begin). At that time the cards are a collectible and you will be given an opportunity to complete your set (details to come later on how). Much of the events around the cards will be focused on who can get the collections first, there will also be mini events where a recipe of cards might win a prize.

Some card are rare, discovering them will trigger a 'rare item' message. The stars on the cards are to indicate how rare a card is. 1 star being common and 6 stars being rare.

These cards will be tradable, stackable, and lootable.

There will be real life sets available.

The only specific trade for prize that has been announced was the apartment deal.

Personally I was really hoping for a card broker, similar to the Koin. This would give you the opportunity to trade various combos for different items (eg cards x,y,z for a limited gun, cards p,q,r&s for a stamina token, some other combo for a certificate to be handed to Devs for some real world item etc).

THis would add MU to bunches of different cards, depending on popularity of the broker items. Instead we have cards that are worthless unless you get the whole set. So much potential squandered...

 

Gotta agree, npc would be nice... but I guess they learned not to rely on npcs too much when the auds didn't all sell out via npc and they had to plop em on to the webshop?

 

Any update on when season two starts or what else we can use cards on if we don't have a full deck? I've got all but 3 cards... Still missing 3, 11, and 13 at the moment

 

Got a dupe on 26 if anyone wants to trade one of the three I'm missing for it

 

Any updates? When''s the expansion coming since "More will be added in the future."

Are beta core cards coming with the moon?
Will those that didn't turn in full deck for the apartment have some other use for the cards they have?
Are there going to be real world card decks sent out to participants holding the cards, and will they be made of solid gold instead of cheap cardboard?

Maybe you can do something interesting... perhaps turn in a deck, or certain combination of cards for a special Unlimited version of armor or special weapon or mining equipment...

P.S. I'm still looking for #3, and #11 if anyone's got em. All the cards I have are up in my apartment at Celeste South, 5th floor, up above the Enhancer Street Shop, in the building closest to the Celeste South TP.

(not selling unless you make me an offer I can't refuse for the full set of cards I have - A mall shop or LA perhaps. )
