Guys im new at the game and having some doubts in my mind. I love knifes and im already lvl 5 going to 6 almost. In laser i am 4. I started hunting nusul and higer moobs but i dont know on which i should stick. Which are more eco and better to kill nusul, tiarak wombana etc, knives or laser? And if so which one particularly?
    Thank you!

L knives (unless from TT) work out to be generally uneco, even at low MU owing to all decay and no ammo. I don't craft knives because I can't do it a price that allows me to profit and still sell at a MU that is good for the hunter.

However there are a number of UNL knives that are ok.

At your level I would stick to TT anyway.

With guns, L is generally a better option. There are some good UNL guns out here but the MU is quite high.

Looking at the longer term there are some great high level knives to aspire to using but you are going to have an easier time finding eco guns to suit your level as you progress.

Having said all that I skill in a variety of weapons. Am lvl 70+ in guns, 30+ in blades, 50+ in Mindforce.

I already have this Castorian Survival EnBlade-A knife. But for nusul is very costly. I can kill 4-5 for each repair..

Damage per pec for that weapon is 2.742 which is not great but could be worse. Yes melee wears out quickly as all cost is in weapon decay. There is no ammo. Consider stocking up on some Manta K1 (L) from the TT to make your hunt last longer. They have MU of 100% since from the TT, and DPP of 2.876 which is better than your enblade.

Also Nusul may be a little above your level. Youngs are 330hp which must be taking you around 40 hits per fill. You must have significant defensive costs either through fap or armour decay (or you run back from revive a lot). As a rule of thumb, consider sticking with mobs whose lvl is no more than 5 greater than your Evader profession.

Is Castorian Pioneer EnBlade-6 E.L.M Edition (L) still dropping in this year's Migration? Last year they were abundant and cost 3 to 5 ped a piece. I had about 30 of them as main weapon for Hadraada. They use weapon cells just like a gun and last quite long. Needs level 8 minimum to use, for good eco wait until nearly maxed. Add a Trauma I amplifier. Train up with tt blades until then on smaller mobs like Halix. Try to choose mobs you can take down within 20-30 seconds, at least for the bulk of your grinding. Observe how mobs regenerate, if their health bar is going up noticeably while you're working on it, then your equipment is not optimal and especially sets you back when you die and have to travel to return. Nothing against some fun with the fat boys, just be aware it costs more than necessary as mentioned above.

I was looking to buy that exact sword yeaterday on ark but could not find. I have a Falcana as well and S.I Flamethrower which works good until tiarak etc halix. Ive noticed the tt blade is less eco then the one i was using.. Thats why i thought to stick to it. But i get this advice very much so i should follow it.

I thoght of waiting some time to skill up and buy this
    Ozpyn RSB S1X1.
Is it promising, or a waste of resources in its repair?

agree with san, i use to have this and its a good starter weapon, the only reason i sold in the end was because i rarely used it and 300 ped was tied up. I'm currently using the Songkha dagger with lvl 58 Knife
The best advise i could recommend is to get your evade up as fast as possible before going full Melee, and using a rifle to shoot first and switch to melee when needed. Going too early melee with poor evade is going to seriously hurt your defensive costs

I actually re-added melee to the skills I want to train because it has a lot of positive side effects, like improving your hp through building strength and it also helps increase defensive skills. That was when I had 30-ish skills in BLP and realised that L20 mobs still were shredding my armour way too much. Evader/Dodger always lags way behind.

But it's also true what was said above, that melee is more expensive at the very beginning. If you start out with the standard ranged weapons and skill up until your Evader level is at or above the danger rating of some mob you want to target, then you should be good. It won't go fast though, takes patience and always fighting the temptation to tackle bigger monsters. If you can stand grinding out both Carabok and Gallard missions, the Evade bonus at the end helps. There are often events that target these mobs, which makes it more fun.

look for missions that give evade/dodge, Athletics, Courage, Alertness & Combat Reflexes. These add good evade, plus HP for the latter 4 skills. other activities is to go swunting when you need like slowing down, sweat carabok then kill it. They don't hit for much, but everytime they do you may increase in defence skill, plus its hard to lose ped when you can sell the sweat after.
For melee evade/dodge is pretty much the most important skills, i'm still chasing to get mine above 40, and even then I wont be happy

plus when you are capable of killing Bahri on Toulan, you can do an hourly mission (bugged should be daily) for 10pec of evade skill

Absolutely what I do, too. I would just add for OP, and I've been told this by the elders time and again, try not to get your mind set too much on completing a certain stage at a certain time, or at once. Watch your returns if money is ever a concern! If you've been reading around or observing it already, you found that loot comes and goes in waves, sometimes short-term, sometimes very long-term. It can mean dry spells of days to up to several months with a certain mob. If pursuing something is too costly, don't hesitate to switch and try different mobs, different locations. Sometimes you even have to move to another planet to find a more worthy target. Then when things are good, ride out the wave. Provide yourself with alternative plans so you won't mind letting something be for the moment. It also pays to go after things which can be sold for decent markup to compensate for the inevitable margin taken out of your deposits. Some mobs drop hides which are popular with texturers, or other parts needed in crafting. See the market stats and don't judge only nominal markup, but also volume. It is very easy to forget these things when you're hell bent on a mission.
