ND just opened up his 2nd forum on the already dieng Entropiaforum.
He choosed it, because its is...more Entropia...and Calypsoforum is...more Calypso.
What a mix up. Way to go.

It wouldnt surprise me if he merges it with his neverdie.com domain, which would suddenly "Increase" the userbase by 15.000 accounts.
That would be a total of 28.000 users then (minus 10.000 clones). Out of nowhere. What a PResidential forum ! x'D

And everybody that never heard of Entropia will think "Wow, this must be working !" 30k users cant be wrong. ;)

As I decided to get banned on that forum as well, I cant give advices over there. ;p

Let's stay with what's true, especially when criticizing. He didn't open it, that address is old. Whether it is any different, is... well. You see what I see.

I read it as saying ND created the forum, possibly just now. Sorry if that was a misunderstanding.

At any rate, I am liking all this less and less, too. I won't go as far as calling it a scam or ND a bad person, he is not. But whoever concocted this whole idea messed up royally, at least with their PR. The rest... I can't claim to even begin to understand it.

Many of players migrated there from entropia pioneers forum once MindBuster crated it and invited players because it will be less moderated and more free speech as on pioneers society forum etc.
MA started to post there so many joined.
After a while MB sold forum to 711.
711 also answered on question if we will be sold again like MB did it and if our personal data is secure and we got assured that it will not happen and that depend on owner honesty etc.
Players still continued to participate and all was fine.
Until 711 one day decided to sell forum database to MA ( or Caly team or SEE or whatever you name it)
Majority of users were newer banned there but we got accounts locked and deleted.
We were sold like pigs in stable with everything we ever contributed or posted there including personal info and e-mail address etc.
If someone got idea to delete anything couldn't do much because database had several redundant copies.
I still feel that is kind of hostile place and if MA have urge to inform me about something then they have my e-mail .
Yes could be super cool place again but is business place and I don't want to be sold again.

Since both forums are under the same administration, I can't see what's the point anyway. If you say something you get banned for in one place, you get banned for copying it in the other, too. Discussion about politics, which is bound to get passionate, is not possible under such a regime.

MB was still begging for donations to cover his so called server costs, while it was already sold to 711.
Greedy a$$holes everywhere. 711 beeing no angel as well.

Slight missunderstanding. ND created a subforum on a dyieng forum called EF.
    Its all bullshit anyway.

So, figured I throw my two cents on the issue, particularly since I wasn't even aware the "election" took place (I don't get on forums much these days, tbh I only found this article because I was browsing waiting for the golden week winners thread).
1st, for a website that's supposedly there to simply present ideas, the website linked in OP seems suspiciously definitive (I didn't see the word "proposed" on there once, it's all about what "will" happen.
2nd, if such a "plan" were to go through, one of two things would happen. Either most people would stop using teleporters, therefore rendering the "plan" useless, or people would still use teleporters, and Chinese gold farmers would get all the "jobs". So, either way the plans probably won't help anyone currently playing the game. I find it very ironic that he uses the term "conscription", considering most people who are conscripted to do work don't actually WANT to do what they're doing.
3rd, why the hell was a PP allowed to even run for president? What little I remember about the election (I saw the announcement for people to sign up, and nothing about voting) it was supposed to be about our voice getting heard. I would think someone who actually PLAYS the game would've been a much better choice (and if he can't play, which is likely but I haven't read the PP ToU so idk, then it even further proves my point. The conflict of interest is strong.)
4th, who the fuck uses entropiaforum anymore? I'll copy paste this onto the post that was made on PCF too, but I'm sure as shit not making a THIRD forum account just because he wants to be politically correct. I don't know anyone that has an account here that doesn't also have one on PCF.

I also find it ironic that he mentions the Oculus rift launch in his website, considering the debacle that the launch has had.

I will say, I don't know ND well, he's always been nice in game from what I can tell, and he might be a great guy, but this idea is not going to end well.
I, for one, will be hoarding skill implants; if this keeps up there's not going to be a game worth playing.

Also, I go to the wrong TP all the time, there's like 6 tps on ark that all start with Re- ><

I think this could help players earn some more. The fact that Neverdie, who has been so well gifted already made the election with such a land slide was a bit strange. I knew neverdie from his efforts in the game but wouldn't of voted for him because I know nothing about him, I think most players would vote for someone they personally know. Difficult to tell if hes an unofficial employee of MA or not.

Still love the game and it will be interesting too see how they implement it.

Man i nearly spat coffee all over my keyboard.:laugh:

Basically ND won the election as nobody else stood, as soon as Star asked if he would be supported on PCF the vote was closed and ND announced winner. I think i got the time-event in right order, but is on forums for you to check.

    Anyway, viva El Presedente!!!!!

Modern society has raised a talented youth where it is quite common for the civilian to consider normal politics as an act of deception. Politics has become a perceived service, to entertain or appease the masses. The disregard: the concept that trusting ones back means to not return with a hole, from a projectile. Now after all, this EUverse is merely about money, not like that is at all a concern for the old nuclear family.

Look I agree with both of your points, be it you spitting on your keyboard because I mentioned a person winning by a land slide and not mentioning how :) or a civilian could formulate ideas, developers are just people too, not so far fetched that other people could have an idea.

There was a schedule for elections:
    - 'till when one could register to run
    - when elections started
    - when elections ended
and it was announced about four months before actual elections.

The fact that elections ended soon after Star asked if he would be supported was simply due to the fact that Star only did that with like one week before the elections ending date.

    MA Knows
    how many ppl play game
how many ppl use or refuse to use forums
how many ppl use or refuse to use FB

yet insted of DO it in game they choose to DO it other way
the way they KNOW they can make outcome THEY wish

there was NO ELECTION it was SELECTION
and winner was know months before any info about it commes public

so called winer have all campain finished , registred and planed in advance

and we still waits for Official results and VR boxes anyway

Here's the way I interpret it:
    - they didn't hold elections in game because they wanted this to be bigger than EU; official title is "President of VR" not "President of EU"; it's hard to do so if you force the elections within a certain game;
    - while there were for sure a few people that couldn't vote (not having a Facebook account), statistically talking, the vast majority had this option (if they were interested in it) since Facebook is widely used and accepted (1.65 billion monthly active user from 3.02 billion people with Internet access);
    - the minimum Facebook account age (one year old) may had its cons (have left a few people outside the voting process), but I think the pros far outweighed the cons (not allowing for fake/automated creation of accounts and manipulate the voting process);
    - the vote used Facebook's official poll tool, though guaranteeing that the results were not altered by MindArk, Neverdie or anyone else, how it could have been the case if the voting process would have taken place on MA page/server/database.

Was the process perfect? For sure not; and if I would be in MA shoes I would have probably made this first term a short one (maybe one year), learn from previous mistakes then organize proper elections for a full four years term later on.

But the fact remains that ND was the only candidate who had the ballz to put his money where his mouth was, pay the fee and run for elections; then, despite people organizing to vote against him (voting for dummy candidate B/C), he won by a large margin (and that I call a clear example where the silent majority won against the vocal minority).

Agree that anyone could have chosen to run.
But election by FB poll is really quite silly and lacks credibility. There a number of ways that election process can be compromised.
I question as to whether the silent majority bothered to vote in such a flawed process. I know I didn't.

Having said that, I welcome ND's efforts to come up with proposals to transform the game and I am following the discussion on entropiaforum with interest. I am still waiting on details of the job creation process, which is supposed to be the justification for the tp monetisation. So far my assessment is that that ND has a grand vision but it's not been thought through and so is not supported by any credible detail. If you are going to increase my cost to play you are going to have to show me benefits to justify that cost. So far ND hasn't done that.

That is just one more example of a perfect example of attitude... fair, realistic, logical, objective, having an open mind, but at the same time a critical approach, not getting up to arms as soon as not liking something... that's one of the reasons I always considered Kikki a role model for me. :)

To be honest, I would probably have had a similar approach, but I chosen to go "all-in" on the "pro" side in an effort to compensate for at least some of the people that did the same for the "nay sayers" side.
