Competition Golden Week 2016

Question, what is the instance timer for? Do we have to complete something within that specific time? Do we have to stay in the instance until the time runs out? What happens if we leave the instance early?

so if i stay after the timers finished my time doesn't count anymore? or it still counts

 

If this works anything like it usually does, you can´t stay after the timer finishes

 

last run was 1 hour one before was 55 minutes. don't think the timer does anything lol. Mobs were dropping crazy arkoins but now back to normal loot as well

 

Will end time be adjusted 12hrs to compensate for late start?

 

I was thinking about making a (for me) heafty desposit to be able to play for 20 hours. Just to get an impression where I stand in a competion and to get those Evade-rewards. But then I read the 12 hours postponement on the Ark.App and I was like .... NO!! That can't be!!

I thought the Golden Week would be one week later. This week I can be online for 20 hours, tops.

As always, I'm late for everything, so I just started on the event.
Normally, I get yelled at for showing up late, but not this time! 6 mins into my first hr I got this nice little gift from the Ermahghuuurgs:



Struggling a bit to gather points, but I don't mind. Using sword as a finisher, so I'm going too slow to compete for a prize anyways.
At least I now have UA enough to grind for some hrs

Wish the instance timer was 1 hr instead of 2, it gets tedious and I feel like a short break after an hour.
Very glad the breeder mission is still on, like last time.

Gz! and FYI you can stop after 1 hour if you want to, there's no penalty for leaving the instance before it kicks you out.

Yeah I figured that out. However, I did pay a penalty: I pressed T after 1 hr because I wanted a break. Took it for granted that I'd end up outside of the instance.. Got back 40 mins later only to see my ava hangin' around INSIDE the instance by a revive terminal..

40 mins wasted w/o getting a single point, lmao. I think it's fairly obvious that I don't stand a chance for a prize now.. Oh well.
I'll still be grinding for the mission and the pills

 

Btw, I know I can abandon the event and start all over, I just don't think I'll bother

 

LAst year, people who abandoned and restarted found that ALL their time for that category was counted. They just lost the points.
Don't do it unless you are changing category

 

Hey guys, I noticed there wasnt any info on these yet. So I took the liberty before killing it a scan of the "boss" which spawned for me at the last 20min mark remaining in the instance.



This one was from Catagory 1 of course. It hit me for around 32 damage and spawned at around [205, 146] inside the instance. Thanks Poopyshot for giving me the pos while I was streaming . It seems to spawn at around the same location every single time

 

I was there with Wauspaus on the stream, and ty Poopyshot again for information. I confirm that it actually exist and even gave me a treat
