How about a mob for MF DMG only?

    Just a fast idea of a creature which consist of energy/plasma/heat or coldclouds which is only attackable with mindforce attack chips ?

    Would be also good for new IFN missions :)

    Mindforce aspect is huge on playerside regarding usage, but no suiting mobs for this kind of "mental energies" aspect.

    EDIT: In addition, tehre maybe new loot as well, for example to upgrade MF chips maybe to adjusted or something like that.

    What I like about sandbox games is the freedom to choose the path that suits you, without feeling like you're missing content or that you have to follow another path (too)... so personally I am against the idea of mobs that are immune to physical damage, just as I would be against the idea of mobs that would be immune to MF damage... wanna be a melee, a range, a MF hunter... that's all cool... but I don't think we should be penalized or rewarded for choosing one option after another...

    I can see the problem that having to use MF to kill a mob could create. However it would be nice if there was some aspect to the game where MF played a greater role and I like the idea of being able to upgrade the chips.

    As for hunting..
    Perhaps the equivalent of a damage buff if the MF damage is matched to the mobs 'weakness', For instance Cryo (cold) to kill a fire dragon/demon, electric to kill a robot (fries the electronics), Arson/combustive against creatures of the cold (Korwil). All could still be killed by other weapons, just would need a higher equivalent DPS. Just a thought.
    This would give MF more point and encourage more people to use it and MA to develop it. At the moment it seems almost an afterthought and certainly offers nothing by way of further use once level 10 MF chips are maxed.

    Alternatively how about some weapon type specific instances.
    1.Ranged weapons are needed as mobs are at a distance and need to be tagged to come nearer and die within a specified area, the increased weight of their bodies piling up eventually triggers a counterbalance and allows access to where the loot is, the mobs would themselves have ranged dame ofc so the shooter cannot just stand still but would have to physically dodge any incoming damage.
    2. An MF one where different rooms can only be cleared using the correct MF type, so you may be able to clear some or all rooms and get some or all loots,
    3. Melee only. This would require narrow twisty places where use of ranged weapons would be pointless, maybe mobs that are also melee users (oratan variant maybe)

    Not sure how pistols would be accommodated though.. Ho hum always going to be someone left out in any formula I guess.

    I was hoping you were proposing a mob that does MF damage only so we can finally skill jammer. Make this mob in the AU and watch as the ubers and high level grinders rush to get their jammer skills up, along with everyone else :p

    That true tho, a point. But, paths in planet calypso are bound to your ability (also wallet) to skill what you're going for and envolve during your experience. As you can not have everything in RL usually unless you flatten the path for it as well.
    For me, those mf dmg only mobs would be an addition, kinda reward yes, for those having skilled in this path or going for in future.

    Having something worked out in a more detailed way is what drags us into something more deeply and adds long time engagement to a players enduring experience.

    About alternatively instances i haven't had an thought so far, in this case there has to be a restriction on weapons equipping in each instance for all weapons which are not allowed to be used or a lower dps.
